Assalam o Alikum
Ignore the mistakes, please...
"Please, Mr. Park, be calm, nothing will happen. I plan it with one of my friends. He will be safe and sound." The famous hunter was telling his perfect plan to Bogum, who was a little scared of it, and worried for his Taehyung. He can't bear a single scratch on Taehyung's skin or heart.
But little did he know that Taehyung had an attachment to the vampire.
"Okay, then when will you do it?"
"Mr. Park, it'll be soon. I'm waiting for my friend to come. He'll handle the main thing and give us support as our backbone." Mr. Lee winked at Bogum, who didn't understand a single thing about the overexcitement of the hunter.
Lee was observing the odd behaviour of Bogum, so he described a little more of his plan.
"He will be fine... and it won't affect him. We already know about it. And some of our men find out that he is already busy with some issues." Bogum nodded and left for his home with contemplating feelings.
Am I doing right? Is it okay?
Taehyung was writing his assignment when the door opened by Jungkook who was looking a little pale as his crimson eyes were redder at that time. As he was not feeling well.
"Kookie... are you alright? Why are you looking so pale?" He was a little worried for Jungkook because he was guarding the boundaries of his clan that was destroyed by someone unknown spell.
Yoongi already told him things about what he heard and mend the boundaries of his clan with his spell as he did in past years.
"I am fine... I'm just a little tired." A frown appeared on the blue-haired boy's face.
"Tired? But Jimin hyung never told me about this. He said vampires never tired unless they're... thirsty? Are you thirsty?" He gulped when he saw the ravenette's eyes boring into his neck where he marked him that night.
He was scared at that time but now... he wants to help him. By his blood? That was what he was worried about.
Jungkook noticed the change on Taehyung's face, so he went straight to his bed and lay down about covering himself with thick blankets that only belonged to Taehyung because he never felt cold.
"Are you feeling cold too? Should I call Jimin hyung or Yoongi hyung?" The concern was evident on his face because Jungkook didn't speak much and lay down on the bed as he was trying to avoid his presence.
Taehyung walked a little to him when he heard a growl from the ravenette whose fans were prominent, which scared him.
"Taehyung... sleep in another room. I... I don't wanna hurt you. Just stay away from me." Jungkook hardly completed his sentence when his aura became scarier.
The room was thick with tension, a silence louder than screams. The vampire lay still, his eyes glowing with a crimson hunger that threatened to consume him. His fangs pressed against his lower lip as he turned away, clenching his fists.
Taehyung unaware of the growing storm inside him, stepped closer, voice soft.
"You're looking so weak, kookie... can I help you?"
Jungkook growled lowly, his voice strained with restraint.
"You shouldn’t be near me right now."
Taehyung's heart pounded—not out of fear, but worry.
"I trust you."
But that trust was a blade cutting deeper than any wound. The vampire’s veins burned with thirst. His mate’s scent was intoxicating, flooding every corner of his senses, testing the limits of his control.
He took a sharp breath and turned to face him, eyes now dark and desperate.
"Please… sleep in the other room tonight."
"Why? I... I can't leave you in this state."
"Because if you stay here..." His voice broke, the monster inside clawing to the surface.
"I might not be able to stop myself. And the last thing I want is to hurt you."
There was a pause. Then, with a quiet nod, Taehyung left the room, not out of fear but respect. As the door closed behind him, the vampire sank to the pillow, trembling, fangs fully out, breath ragged.
He had won the battle tonight—but he knew it wouldn’t be the last.
Morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting golden slivers across the wooden floor. Jungkook was sitting by the window, still in the same clothes, his back straight but his expression hollow. He hadn’t slept. He couldn’t.
All night he had fought against the storm inside him—the hunger, the urge, the scent that lingered in the sheets long after his mate had left the room. His throat still burned, dry like ash, but his guilt burned hotter.
The door creaked open gently.
His mate, Taehyung stood there, eyes tired but gentle, holding a warm cup of tea between his hands.
"You didn’t sleep."
"No," Jungkook replied without turning.
"Did you?"
"A little," he said quietly, walking in.
"You didn’t feed either."
Jungkook finally turned his head, eyes still haunted.
"I almost lost control."
"But you didn’t." The blue-haired boy reminded him, stepping closer and setting the cup down beside him.
"You stopped yourself, Kookie"
"That doesn’t make it easier," he whispered. "I could’ve hurt you. I was this close.”
"And yet you didn't." Taehyung sat beside him, carefully reaching for his cold hand.
"That matters to me."
Their fingers intertwined slowly, the vampire trembling beneath the soft warmth. He closed his eyes, forehead leaning against his mate’s shoulder.
"I don’t want to be a danger to you."
"You're not... You’re fighting every instinct, every craving—for me. That’s not dangerous. That’s love..." The last was the thinking of the blue-haired boy that he accepted weeks ago.
For the first time in hours, the vampire exhaled—shaky, but calmer. The fire in his throat still burned, but the warmth of the hand holding his reminded him why he fought in the first place.
"I'll fight to the world for you... but never ever hurt you. Love... never..."
