Chapter 26
Donghae's POV
Donghae was ignoring Reika for a few days now and he's at his limit. He misses her so much but he's got to try his brothers' advice.
Flashback...
Donghae was surfing the internet, searching for the current trends on dating.
"Should I send flowers? But she'll just place it on a vase and ignore it until it withers then throw away. Chocolates? She doesn't like sweets that much. How about a puppy? She --" He muttered to himself.
"Yah, Donghae." Eunhyuk called his attention.
"Hmm?" He said without looking away from the computer screen.
"Shut up."
"Huh? Can you hear my mind?" Did the members acquire some super power or something? Then what's his?
"Babo (Stupid). You're muttering to yourself." Answered Eunhyuk who was apparently writing something. Maybe he was composing a new song.
"We can hear you from across the room." Shindong, who was playing video games with Henry, butted in.
"Oh. I thought I was talking in my mind."
Henry laughed and stood up from the sofa to approach him. "You're planning what to give to Reika noona?" He peeked at what he was working with.
"Yeah. But I'm not dating much these past years so I have no idea what to do." He furrowed his brow.
"Not dating much? Then what about *******? And *********?" Eunhyuk asked him.
"It was only a few instances."
"Yeah... and he always gets dumped." Shindong snickered.
The other two laughed with Shindong. "Yah, you guys should just help me here." Donghae said to them.
"What about Jessica? Before Reika came back, we thought you two were getting along pretty well." Hyukkie wiggled his brows.
He got worried about Jessica, too. He didn't have a chance to talk to her after what happened on his last birthday. She was avoiding him. Maybe she thought he was leading her on and just left her on mid-air. He can't blame her on that. That made him feel so bad because she was one of his close friends.
"We haven't talked with each other lately because of our busy schedules." He just reasoned out.
"Hmmm.. just do what you used to do with Reika noona when you were still dating." Henry suggested.
"I need something new."
"Yah, Donghae." Shindong stood up from the sofa. "Don't you think you're a little too clingy?"
"Clingy?" He asked.
"You're too attached to her. Maybe you need to make her miss you. Even couples need some distance between them from time to time."
"Are you like that with Nari noona?" Henry asked Shindong.
"Yeah, sometimes."
"Why don't you try staying away from her for a few days? As they said, absence makes the heart grow fonder." Eunhyuk told him then made a high five with Shindong.
Oh, there's a saying like that? "I don't think I can do that." Donghae shook his head.
"She'll soon miss you too and she'll ve the one to run into your arms then you can both live happily ever after." Henry laughed.
