Reika's POV

"With Donghae hyung."

Her heart started beating triple time. Did she hear that right? Donghae? As in Lee Donghae? Her Lee Donghae? Wait -- HER?! Oh nevermind. And he was coming up in her suite?

"Hey, you still there?" Kyuhyun asked.

"Donghae's coming here..." She whispered.

"Yeah. Excited?" He teased.

Okay. That's just it. "I'm not excited! I'm freaking out now! Get out of here! Get out of my life!"

"Whoa. Calm down. I can't just wait outside. They'll also want to know who I'm with."

"I don't care! Tell them anything. Just don't say you know me." She started pushing him to the door.

"Why are you trying to run away? I thought you don't care for him anymore. Or were you just trying to hide what you really feel?" He held her arms to stop her from pushing him and looked at her.

She didn't know what to say. They just met but it's like Kyuhyun knows her for years. She took her arms away from his hold and walked quickly to her room.

"Hey! Where are you going?" Reika heard him call her. "You're such a coward, you know that?"

She wanted to snap back at him but decided to save it later. Right now, she needed to do something.

A few minutes more and her doorbell rang. Dang, how can they get to the top floor so fast?

"I'm going to let them in so you better show up." Kyuhyun said outside her door. Was he there all along while she was inside her bedroom? And the nerve of the guy to command her to show up. Just whose place does he think he is now?!

Reika looked at herself in the mirror. She still looks like herself. Who was she kidding? She just put on black contacts to conceal her blue eyes and wore thick-rimmed glasses. Ugh. She wasn't great at disguises. Maybe she should ask Sooyoung for tips.

Reika heard her front door open and then voices. She needs to go outside. Taking a deep breath, Reika went outside her room and walked to the living room. She feels like she's about to meet her doom.

Kyuhyun was the first one to notice she arrived. He looked taken aback when he saw her and gave her a look that said "Like, really? Who has the lamer disguise now?"

Eunhyuk looked at her, too, and thought for a moment. "Reika-chan?" He whispered.

Reika just sighed. So much for a stupid disguise. Eunhyuk that she just met recognized her with just one look. What more for Donghae who she was inseparably with when they were younger?

And speaking of the guy, his back was on them while talking to someone on his phone. Her heart started to beat like crazy again. Should she run away now and hide herself on Antarctica?

Finally, his phone call ended and started to face them. It was just like in the movies, that slow motion effect. Shucks, there goes her movie fantasy again.

"Sorry about that. Hyung was wondering where we are now." Donghae started to say... then looked at her. They were now face to face with each other. All those years apart, she just realized the extent of how much she missed him. Donghae looked handsome a hundred times more than when she last saw him eight years ago. He looked manlier and more mature now.

Donghae interrupted her thoughts and said, "You.."

Okay. Her heartbeat rate started increasing again. Reika felt like she's going to have a heart attack now. Why did she even bother to disguise herself?

"M-me?" She stammered. Gaaahhd, Reika Mizakuchi stammers like never and there she was looking like a fool.

"You're that girl from the stairs. The one with Kyuhyunnie." He looked at Kyuhyun. "You didn't tell me you're going out already!" He turned again to her. "You're Rina, right? I'm Donghae." And he offered his hand to her.

Reika was at a loss for words. Lee Donghae, her first love, didn't recognize her? And he thought her name was Rina? She felt like a truck just slammed at her chest. This was what she wanted, right? That was why she put on a stupid disguise. She just didn't expect it would work. She should feel relieved, but for some reason, she felt like hiding in her room and cry forever.

Reika just shook his hand hesitantly. She felt lightning bolts at their contact so she took her hand away immediately. Donghae just smiled at her.

"So Rina, had a hard time with Kyuhyun?" Eunhyuk asked. She almost forgot these two were still here.

She just shrugged. "I think he had a harder time with me." Kyuhyun was just staring at her, scrutinizing her. Reika doesn't care what he has to say now. She decided to go back to the calm, unfeeling Reika.

Eunhyuk and Donghae laughed but Kyuhyun continued to stare at her. What was his problem, really?

"Got nothing to say, Kyuhyun-ssi?" She asked him. She was starting to feel uneasy with his stare.

"Are you sure you haven't met her somewhere else, Donghae?" Kyuhyun asked.

What does this guy think he's doing? She was already saved that Hae was too stupid to recognize her and there he was, digging her grave.

She gave Kyuhyun a warning look. Eunhyuk sent uneasy glances at them while Donghae stared at her now, maybe trying to rack his mind who she was.

"Are you a CF model? You're really pretty so I bet you are." Donghae smiled that kind of smile that makes her want to run into his arms.

She just shook her head. He really can't remember who she is. Did he have amnesia in the past?

"I think we better go now. Teukie hyung is texting me nonstop." Eunhyuk said. "Thank you for letting Kyuhyun bother you, pretty lady. If you get tired of him, call me." He winked at her.

"I'm available, too." Donghae added and chuckled. "But I bet Kyuhyun's gonna kill me."

"You guys go ahead. I'll just talk to her for a moment." Kyuhyun walked towards her after the other two went outside.

"I know Donghae hyung's stupid but I didn't think this stupid." Kyuhyun muttered.

"Well, I'm glad this is how things turned out. Saves me from the trouble. You should go now. Just lock the door when you leave." Reika started to walk away but Kyuhyun grabbed her hand.

"Are you alright?" Kyuhyun asked worriedly at her.

"Never been better. Now, if you'll just walk out that door I'll have the best time of my life." She said sarcastically while trying to pull her hand away.

"I'll talk to him."

"For what? He doesn't recognize me. That was what I want, right?"

"I don't think you really wanted that."

"Just go, okay?" She finally got her hand. "I don't need your opinions on anything. Please just stay away from me from now on."

Kyuhyun stared at her for a moment and walked outside.

"Just don't go crying when I close this door." And with one last look on her, he closed to door leaving Reika staring at it before collapsing on the floor.
