Reika's POV

Reika and Donghae were in a rush to go to the waiting room so that Donghae will make it for the performance. He was leading the way since she didn't really know the way around the place. Everyone was busy with different things -- staff preparing sets, idol stars in their costumes trying to get ready and other things. Everyone was too occupied with their own work that they didn't notice them rushing in.

"I still have an hour to get ready. I just hope they didn't start the pre-recording yet." She heard Donghae say.

Reika was about to say something back but she didn't get the chance because something or someone pulled her into a dark corridor that they passed. She was so surprised that she didn't have time to react when he locked her in his arms and covered her mouth. She wanted to call Donghae but she couldn't break free. Didn't he notice she was gone? Well, he was in a hurry.

Reika was alarmed. Who is this guy?! She couldn't see his face because he was behind her. The more she struggled, the stronger his hold is. Was he a kidnapper? How did someone like him get inside here? Out of all the people here, why her? She wanted to know his intentions and kill him for making her feel so helpless.

"Stop struggling." He whispered to her.

That voice was familiar to her but it was too low for her to be sure. She tried to kick him from behind her but he easily dodged it, as if anticipating that she would do that.

He suddenly dragged her inside a room on that dark corridor. The lights were off in that room and it was stuffy. He pushed her gently to the wall so they were facing each other now. In fact they were close.. too close. She could feel his breath on her face. It smelled like mints.

Her heart was pounding on her chest now, as if it recognized who the person was. But she felt two different beats, both beating fast. Then she realized the other was his heart.

"There's no need to panic. It's just me." Kyuhyun said in his most gentle voice. It was too dark but Reika knew he was looking directly in her eyes. He slowly removed his hand from her mouth.

"I know." She said. Her ridiculous heart knew too well.

"Look Reika, I --" He started to say.

"I can't look or see. It's too dark."
