Chapter 18
Reika’s POV
“Is that all?” Reika asked her secretary.
“There are still papers coming later that you have to sign. “ She answered.
“Okay. Just give them to me later. You may leave now.”
She bowed and went outside of her office.
Reika stretched her arms and slouched lazily on her swivel chair. It was a very tiring day, but she still has more work to do. Well, it has been a very busy two months. Yes, two months since she left Seoul.
She stood up and looked outside her window. The place was overlooking the busy streets of London. She had been too preoccupied by her work these past months. She needed the distraction.
After she left Seoul, she went straight home to Japan and insisted on her parents that she wanted to take over whatever position she could have in the company. They finally agreed and let her take over the whole advertising and fashion/clothing department of their businesses. It was a challenge at first, but she adjusted immediately. Reika needed the work to get her mind off of things.
Now, she was handling their branch in London. She was pretty much moving from country to country these past weeks. But she was avoiding South Korea. The reason was obvious. She was running away again, like how she did eight years ago.
The intercom beeped. She pressed the button.
“Send it in.” She said over. It was probably more paperwork. She sighed and sat on her swivel chair. This day was long from over.

“There’s a meeting over at three with the creative group, ma’am.” Her secretary informed her.
“What’s it about?”
She handed her a letter. “It’s about the new advertising campaign of our clothing line. They now have new line-ups and new endorsers.”
“So they already decided on that? Why haven’t they informed me about it? I have the final say for those things.” As the head of advertising, everything must be approved by her before it can be finalized.
“It seems Madame was the one who made the decision on that. She pushed it over.”
Reika was surprised. Her mom was the one who pushed through the decision? She must have personally liked the new line-up and the new endorsers. She would let Reika handle it otherwise.
“Okay. Inform them that I’ll be coming.”
