I have been doing so much self discovery lately, but it's just so much fun learning about yourself.
I'll start off this chapter with where I identify on the spectrum of asexuality.
*WARNING*
I'M GOING TO BE DISCUSSING TOPICS ABOUT SEXUAL ATTRACTION AND SEX SO IF THAT'S NOT YOUR THING, DON'T CONTINUE
*WARNING*I am aegosexual, which means that I have no desire or need to particiapte in sex myself, but I do still have a sex drive. I also have a lack of sexual attracion, but I'm homosexual-orientated. To me, this means that in order to get aroused, it is usually by watching/reading etc. sexual acts of people assigned female at birth.
Now you know how I identify, I'll explain the spectrum of sexual orientation.
The two ends of the spectrum are asexual (lack of sexual attraction) and allosexual (having sexual attraction). There are a lot of things inbetween, such as gray-asexual (sometimes having sexual attraction), demisexual (only having sexual attraction after an emotional bond is formed), etc. There are probably a shit ton more, but I can't explain them all. And each identity could mean something different to every person who uses it,
so if someone explains it to you differently than you know or have learned it as, just respectfully tell them that you have heard different and maybe ask them to explain why they use the word differently.Side note: All of these identities can also be used for romantic orientation, just change the ending.
