So today, after work, I went to my school's football game with Grey and some other friends. It started off pretty normal, just standing and talking and socializing and stuff. Then me, Grey, and one of our friends (who is the vice president of GSA and we think of her as a mom) walked to the park. Its only a ten minute walk, and we didn't wanna watch the game anyways.
We started off kinda just talking about random shit and then we kinda slowly started opening up to eachother. It was good, in a way, but I kinda just sat there in shock a little bit.
Life fucking sucks for some people. I would trade my somewhat good family for theirs anyday, they don't deserve the shit that happened to them. There is one thing I kinda wanted to say, but Grey is sleeping over tomorrow so I'll just tell them then.
And the worst part about the whole thing was that they couldn't do anything about it. People who have shitty families are forced to deal with them until they are at least 18, and they can't do shit to change the mind or ways of their parents/family.
And if the kid tries to even stand up to a parental figure, they get yelled at, grounded, or just disrespected. All that just because parents think they're right about fucking everything.
I just really am looking forward to the day where people with crappy families can move out and live their own lives in peace and happiness.
