Hell's Hazbin Heroes

Curtain Call: Part 2

{A/N: I'm not sure exactly when Husk, Cherri, & Angel regrouped with everyone else, but I imagine they can see and hear everything from atop the tower, so bear with me from here.}

Nico's POV:

Vox moves the cannon so that it's aimed at Alastor, who's sliding down the side of a building while being chased by Vox's shark.

Vox: "Smile for the camera, bitch!"

But in his haste to eliminate Alastor, he accidentally obliterates most of Hell, eliminating dozens of other sinners instead.

Charlie: "No, stop!"

Emily: "Those sinners need help. We need to do something!"

So, Charlie & Angel work together to help the sinners caught in the crossfire or underneath the rubble, while Carmilla helps Vaggie shut off the cannon. Now, Vox has to face his former followers berating him for killing other sinners, but that doesn't stop him.

Vox: "You will not take this away from me!"

Vox connects to the cannon and fires another blast aimed at Alastor.

Charlie: "Alastor!"

Me: "No!"

Emily saves Alastor from being hit, but gets hit by the blast in his place. Charlie helps Emily while I travel via my shadows to check on Alastor.

Vox: "Oh-ho-ho, 4 for the price of 1. You've just been fucking canceled."

Carmilla: "Vox, stop! Firing anymore will overload the weapon."

Vox: "Then I better make these shots count!"

Carmilla: "You idiot! If it overloads, it will blow, taking you, us, and half the pentagram with it."

Vox: "You know what?-*cackles*-Fuck Hell, Fuck Heaven, and fuck all of you. As long as I wipe that smile off Alastor's fucking face, I don't care what happens."

I glare up at Vox as I stand before Alastor.

Alastor: "What are you--?"

Me: "That's my job, isn't it? To protect, help, and support you.-*smirks*-And, y'know-*shrugs*-I love you and all that."

Thankfully, before Vox can fire, Velvette kicks him off the cannon.

Vox: "Fuck!"

Valentino grabs Vox by his tattered suit collar.

Valentino: "You are not fucking killing us over that stupid deer!"

Velvette: "It's over, ya dumb fuck!"

Vox: "Fuck that. This is my moment, my fucking destiny. I'm a fucking god!"

Valentino grabs Vox's head and yanks it off his body before picking up Velvette.

Valentino: "We're leaving!"

Valentino opens his wings to fly away, but one of them is torn.

Valentino: "Fuck. Oh, shit."

Then, the cannon starts overloading as Valentino runs away.

Charlie: "Oh, no, we have to get people to safety. We--We need to--to..."

Carmilla: "It's no use. We won't get clear in time."
