'I Wasn't Lying When I Said I Loved You'

You woke up tied to a chair. You could faintly smell sugar in the air and you knew the one person responsible for this.

"L. Let me go" you growled Struggling against your restraints.

"I can't do that. I must do what ever it takes to track Kira down. He must be stopped." He told me staying in the shadows.

"And what's that got to do with me?!?" You screamed at him.

"All the information I have gathered point to the plausible fact the you work for Kira and your going to tell me where he is" he stated

"I don't know where he is and I certainly don't work for him. So please L I'm begging you let me go" You cried out your wrists now burning from where the rope torn your skin.

"I'm afraid I can't do that. You see ____ the facts don't lie" he told you walking out of the shadows to face you.

"L! Can you even hear yourself? We've been friends forever why would I betray you?" You asked him.

"The one thing I can't figure out.. So why don't you tell me?" He asked coming to sit In front of you. He sat in his trademark position and began to bite on his thumb. You loved that quirky trait.

"I wouldn't betray you L you have to believe me" You begged

"Why should I? Give me on good reason why I should" he told you

"Because I love you!" You blurted out.

He just stared at you. It was the first time you've seen him speechless. "L say something please. Anything" You pleaded.

You shut your eyes and began to cry. You knew he would believe you. He probably just thought it was your way off....... You felt soft warm lips upon yours. Kissing back instantly, you melted into the kiss. Savouring a moment you had dreamed about for so long.

"I love you to. That's why I had to make sure it wasn't you. I wanted it to be someone else with all my heart and now it is." He told you cupping your cheeks in his hands.

He kissed you again this time with much more passion. This seemed to be way out of character for L, the only thing he got passionate about was cake and finding Kira. However you didn't argue you just accepted the kiss what ever way it came to you.

He moved down and began kissing your neck. You longed to reach out and touch him, but something was stopping you and not just your ropes, L had untied them already. "L" you whispered "L. Stop please. I need to tell you something"

"Yes my love?" He asked still kissing your neck.

"I need to be honest with you...." You said shifting under neath him, pressing your legs together in an attempt to hold in the tightening feeling that was now occurring. "I do work for Kira. About a year ago he found me crying and offered me my heart desire. He offered me love. That's all I wanted. I wanted to be loved by you and for so many years you just ignored my feelings.
