'Pool Party'

The Sabertooth guild has finally got it own pool. So today the I demanded everyone take the day off and just relax. Enjoy themselves.

And everyone was doing just that. Everyone except Lexi. She was currently sat on the deck chair in jeans shorts  and a sleeveless shirt, reading a book.

I kept stealing glances over at her and noticed her attention wasn't actually on the book in front of her but rather on the rest of us splashing away in the pool. Her finger clenched tightly round the edge of her book and I could tell by the look in her eyes she itching to join us. So I did what any good guild master would do and I swam up to the edge to go invite her in.

"Lexi? Wanna come in?" I asked flashing her an inviting smile.

Her blue eyes twinkled in excitement but just as quickly glazed over with a sadness I've never seen before.
"No. I'll just stay here with my book, thanks anyway" She smiled at me.

"You sure? The pool is amazing" I smirk trying to rekindle the excitement that was in her eyes.

"I'm fine. Besides I'm cold anyway, and getting into a bikini will just take too long" She smiled before dropping her gaze back to the pages in front of her.

"Alright then. But next time you have to promise to come in" I say reluctant to let the conversation end here.

"Maybe" She smiled half heartedly.
"Go have fun. Don't let me ruin your fun"

"Won't be much fun without you though" I winked before gliding back across the pool.

She never did come into the pool the next time. Or the time after that. Or the time after that. Every time I would ask her to join us she would shake her head and just go back to reading her book. That or she would make some excuse to leave. Normally I wouldn't think much of it, and if it was any other person I would have just let it go. But not Lexi. Add the fact I had a soft side for her long brunette hair and startling crystal blue eyes to the level of sadness I witnessed when she said she couldn't come in, I just couldn't let it go. So I decided I would make her come in the pool. I had a plan, and I hoped it would work.

"Hey Lexi! Wait up!" I called to her.

"Oh Sting. Anything I can help you with?" She smiled.

"Yeah. Meet me by the pool tonight. I've closed it off so it will be just us. Please be there." I begged.

"I don't know....I'm mean I've got......" She began but I abruptly cut her off.

"Don't make me order you to do it" I smirked.
"Please Lex. You always say No to the pool and besides I just want to talk. We don't have to go swimming"

"Ok....i'll be there for 8." She says before darting back of in the direction she was previously headed.

Smiling to myself I put the remainder of my plan into action.

I closed down the pool. The door was shut and no one was allowed in. All around the edge of the pool I set up different colour light lacrima. It looked amazing and I hoped Lexi would like it too.
