Aurora x Sam

'Dancing in the Kitchen'

Sam stood in the doorway of their shared kitchen. He couldn't help but smile at the sight in front of him.
There she was, his Aurora, dancing to a beat only she could hear.

Headphones in, she swayed her hips. Her arms gracefully swayed through the air the longer she moved. She lightly hummed a basic tune and he couldn't stop the corners of his mouth from twitching up in a smile. Her movements were so graceful. So delicate. So enchanting. He could watch her all day.

He would never admit it to her, but he loved watching her dance. He loved the way her hair bounced slightly. The way she would relax her whole body and just let go. He loved the sight of her so free from the constraints of life, free from worry. The only thing on her mind; the beat.

He couldn't help himself, tip toeing over her wrapped his arms around her waist. Her body jumped at his touch and he heard a small shriek sound from her lips.

"Did I frighten you?" He chuckled.

Aurora spun herself round in his arms and lightly slapped his chest.
"You pig" She muttered but couldn't help but giggle when she saw those twinkling blue eyes staring down at her. Mischievousness swirling through his features.

"Sorry darlin' but I just wanted to be close to you. I love it when you dance" He told her nuzzling into the top of her head leaving soft kisses there.

"You could have just asked" She spoke a small smile playing over her features.
She loved it when he called her darlin'. She loved it even more when he held her close.

He suddenly pulled away from her but gripped one of her hands in his.
"In that case then.....may I have this dance?"

A small blush crept onto her face. She just smiled and pulled herself into his body.
"You may"

Smiling he held her close and they began to sway in time to a beat only they could hear. Slowly the twirled round the kitchen. His grip on her never releasing, if anything ever time the twirled round her held her closer.

Spinning her round he slowly dipped her. Leaning back across his arm, Sam stared into the gorgeous violet orbs that made up his girlfriends eyes. Right now they glowed bright with happiness. It radiated through her into him and he couldn't help but smile down at her.

Her hand slowly traced round from his shoulder to grasp small delicate handfuls of his soft black hair. She twirled the tufts between her fingers smiling up at him.
"I love you Sam. You know that right?"

"I love you. More than anything" He smiles leaning down to capture her lips in a soft lingering kiss.

It was short and sweet, but it was all that was needed in that moment. It was perfect just for them.

As their lips parted Sam stared down at her once more. Slowly he twirled her back up right and heist held her in his arms.
"I'm going to kiss you again" He told her.

She simply nodded and watched as his lips slowly made their way to hers.

Suddenly though Sam was pushed back and Aurora went running off.
"You'll have to catch me first!" She could be heard yelling as she went.

Sam just laughed as he chased after her. That was his Aurora. And she was perfect just for him.
