'When Overtime Becomes Wanted'

Caution: LEMON

"Will....I'm bored" You whine.

"If you and that red headed miscreant hadn't caused that mess out wouldn't be here with me cleaning it up" He flatly replied.

You laughed thinking back to yesterday. You and Grell had decided that you were gunna bunk of work to go for a pamper day. At first you didn't want to go but when Grell pointed out that you could use it to impress a certain reaper you jumped at the chance. So far all it had got his attention alright. Just not the attention you wanted. So now you were hear with Will working overtime to collect all the souls Grell had missed before something bad happened.

"So why isn't Grell here with us fixing the mess it helped create" You said sulking.

"Because I can't stand Grell. You on the other hand I can just about tolerate, except for when you sulk. It makes you look unattractive" He said walking off in tow of another missed Soul.

You say there contemplating exactly what he had just said. Maybe you had misheard him? Confused you jumped off the building following Will. The thought kept niggling at your mind the rest of the evening. It was still bugging you when Will allowed you both to stop.

"Will?" You said to break the silence

"Yes." He replied not looking away from his note book.

"Earlier. When you said that when I sulk i become unattractive and that you could tolerate me. What did you mean by that? Does that mean you find me attractive normally or what?" You asked now starting to ramble a little.

"Well....um." He began looking flustered that you had asked him "We should really be getting back to work. If we hurry we might be able to finish early meaning this overtime might be cut back"

Your face dropped. Of course he didn't like you. "Yeah sure." And with that you both got back to work.

The next day you did your work as usual. Collected your quota of souls and all thoughts of Will were banished from your mind. After yesterday's let down you decided to just get over it, or you would have if Will had come up to you and said you had more overtime this evening. Groaning you adjusted your glasses and followed him.

You and Will were charged with picking up the slack from the newbie's. This really ticked you off as surely it wasn't your job to be doing this, it was the management's job to pick up newbie slack not yours. You decided to confront Will about it. "Will. Why am I here? Shouldn't another member of management be helping you out?"

"I requested for you to be the one to accompany me. I actually...enjoy your company" He said turning round to shoot you a small smile.

You stopped dead in your tracks. Did that really just happen? "You requested me?" Was all you could mumble back in response.

"Yes. I don't know why but I seem to enjoy your company. I enjoy working so closely with a female such as yourself" He said before walking off.

The rest of the evening you focused on what Will had said. Yet in no time you were back in his office finishing up the reports on the souls you had collected. You sat across from Will and thought some more about what he had said. Did he enjoy your company as a friend? What did he mean by 'a female such as yourself'?

You looked over at him and caught him staring at you. Blushing you looked back down at the paperwork in front of you. You thought about how sad it was that half these people died without doing anything with their life. That's when you suddenly decided to take a risk. Do something you wouldn't normally. Take a chance and spice up your long life.
