FT : Juvia x Gray (Gruvia)

Originally I had the idea for a small one shot. However as time went on I just kept writing and writing and writing. Literally I couldn't stop I just had so many ideas, so this ended up taking me a few months to complete (to the point I started it was back in August).
So please enjoy what is by far my favourite one shot. (It also has some lemon science in here too 😉)
Any artwork used through the one shot is not my own. It belongs purely to those who created it. I just used it because I love them all so much. But anyway! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing it.

Juvia sighed.
How had it come to this? Why them? Why now?

Turning of the cold water tap she slunk into the bath. There she sat, as the hot water filled the bath around her, thinking about those three questions over and over again.

Gray wasn't a bad person. He had only done those things to save her life, so why was he being punished for them now. No one involved had been innocent, I mean they had kidnapped her for Mavis sake. All Gray had done was rescue her. So why?

Taking a deep breath she slowly sunk beneath the water. Opening her eyes she watched as her blue hair swirled around her.
Why couldn't her whole life be as easy as this one moment? Why couldn't her life flow as easy as her hair did in the water?

She remembered back before. Back before she and Gray knew each other.
She was a dancer, contemporary and ballet, he was a big business man, the CEO of Fullbuster Publishings. She lived in a small one bedroom apartment on the outskirts of Magnolia, he lived in the penthouse suite of the tallest apartment building right in the city centre. The probability of the two meeting was 1000 to 1 and yet they did. They met and fell in love.

Juvia belonged to a prestigious dancing company known as Fairy Tail. They were known as the dancing fairies and the night she met Gray she had been doing a performance. They had been hired by the Heartfilia company to put on a show based upon their daughters first published Novel. Personally she thought it was a stupid Idea, but rich people paid for their stupid ideas to become reality, they paid really well.

The novel was a romance. It was about a rich girl falling in love with a pirate. Slightly Cliché, Juvia initially thought but as she had been chosen to play the main character she would have to suck it up and like it. This was her first leading role and she was too nervous to be annoyed at the storyline.

It was her nervousness that caused her to meet Gray that faithful day.

She remembered that she was backstage freaky out at the amount of people that had shown up. She knew the Heartfilia family had connections everywhere, but she never expected this many people. She had just slipped into her outfit:
