Chapter 20

I rub my head and look down as the pain clears up my head.

Slowly two converse clad feet came toward me.

i frowned and looked up slowly seeing dark colored skinny jeans and a orange tank top leading to a silver friendship necklace that looked really oddly famliar to a face that shocked the cupcakes out of me.

Sophia.

My mouth gaped open and i stared blankly at her in shock," soph....what are y-"

Suddenly my cheek is stining and sophia is glaring at me with tears rising in her eyes.

"You horrible triflin' whore ass bitch!!!!"

My eyes widen and i stand up quickly ,my legs shaky and unsteady.

Sophia glared at me,"How dare you ?"

I opened my mouth to speak but quickly shut it seeing the look on your face.

Sophia growled menencingly ,"  How dare you not answer any of my calls making worry my life away ? Do you know the havoc you've caused?"

I stare at her for a moment then stand up shakily wrapping my arms around her tightly burying my face into her shoulder.

I felt Sophia sigh as her arms wrapped around me pulling me closer ,"Your a horrible person.. you know that right?"

I nod inhaling her scent," I'm sorry."

Sophia pulled away and smiled at her while brushing my hair away from my face before she gently pushed me down on to the bed," I know ....we'll fix this alright?"

I look down fiddling with my hands as a sharp pain filled my chest," You know what happened?"

Sophia gently grasped my chin tilting my head up ,her gaze sympathetic," Its not what you think it is honey.. trust me...it killed him to make the decision but...at the moment it needed to be done."

I shook my head violently , tears filling my eyes," no ..he told her he loved her...I heard it....I saw it...I felt it.. there's no denying ."

Sophia shook her head," Leah.. please believe me...I know your hurt but you have to come back...Well figure it out.. please? For me?"

I close my eyes and for the first time in days I heard Ella's voice .

"Leah lets go back. We need to see for ourselves"

I lower my gaze and nodded. I took a deep breath and wiped my eyes ,standing up," Where's Kaden?"

Sophia smiled," the kitchen ..should i get him?"

I shake my head and quickly run into the bathroom. I wince as I took in my new "look". My eyes looked flat and dull . There were huge, dark ,Circles under them and my cheeks looked sunken in as if I hadn't  eaten in months. I reached a hand up and touched my hair frowning," disgusting"

I quickly undress jumping in the shower . I thoroughly wash my body and my hair . After a few minutes I turn off the shower wrapping a towel around myself . I step out  of the shower and look in the mirror ,"Ugh...I still look sickly...not as bad though"

I sigh and brush my hair out while its wet and put it into side braid. I walk into the room to see Sophia had already laid out my clothes. A Black V-neck long sleeve shirt and a pair of grey skinny jeans. I mutter a quick thanks and quickly gets dressed. I grab my black converses slipping them on.

I start to pack all our things but laughs to myself t see Sophia already did it.

Sophia grabbed a bag grinning," Ready to get the hell out of dodge?"

I grinned back feeling more alive then I had since I left home,"  Hell ya..they're not gonna let us go easily though."

Sophia shrugged ,an evil glint in her eyes," That's cool. Kane has been getting on my everlasting nerves so I could use the stress reliever "

I chuckle and grab the other bag slinging unto my back ,"lets get going then"

 Sophia opens the door and we both head down to the kitchen. Kaden spots me before i spot him and before i knew what was happening they're was a little body in my arms trying to bear hug the life out of my neck.

I smile and hug him tightly rubbing his back," hey buddy"

Kaden pulled back and glared at me.

I pout and kiss his cheeks," I'm sorry for making you worry ."

Kaden glared for a few more moments before smiling hugging me again. I picked him up in my arms patting his back.

"Where do you think your going?"

I look toward the kitchen entrance and grimaced,"Elaine "

Elaine crossed her arms," again I say. Where do you think your going?"

Sophia glared at her," Were leaving "

Elaine leaned against the door frame," You can but your friend and the child stays"

A growl rumbled in Sophia chest," i don't think so.. either you let us pass or ill have your head. It quite simple rouge."

Elaine snarled and started forward just as Sean came into the room ," What's happening ladies?"

You could tell by the glint in his eyes that he already had more than a little understanding of what was happening.

Sophia glanced at him ," get rid of your guard dog before I do..im taking leah and Kaden home..theres something we need to attend to ."

Sean leaned against the door frame and meet my gaze . I don't know what he saw but whatever it was his face softened and he slowly nodded," fine....ill be coming with you . ..Elaine will you come or will you stay?"

Elaine spluttered," a-are you serious? Se-"

Sean turned to look at her ,his eyes narrowing," Don't question me"

Elaines mouth dropped open incrediously and she nodded slowly ," I guess ill be coming"

I looked at sean and nodded in thanks holding Kaden close.

Sophia sighed impatiently," now that is settled..lets get going. Now."

I chuckled ," I missed you hoe "

Sophia rolled her eyes flashing a grin," I missed you too biatccch"

Sean watched us curiously," ive never understood women." he shook his head and walked out of the door looking baffled. Elaine immediately followed after him.

Sophia shook her head," I might end up snapping the womans neck"

I raised an eyebrow,"someone has gotten very violent"

She laughed,"You would as well if you had to put up with kane"

I chuckled and shifted my bags to the front of my body moving kaden to my back. He wrapped his arms securely around my neck ," lets go before sean changes his mind"

Sophia linked her arms with hers as they walked out together causing a feeling of utter relief to run through her veins that was almost painful .

She really had missed Sophia..and now she was going home..it was time to fix everything and if that meant she had to kick chrissys ass or go to war..

Then so be it.
