Tears filled Zanes eyes but I didn’t care .i had to get this out,” You love me? Bullshit! People who love another person don’t do the things you did. …I cant forgive you… You’re the only one I really wanted to open up to.I trusted you and you broke my trust and…and you broke me.”

Zane flinched away from my harsh words.

I took a deep breath,”What you and christy need to do is complete your mating bond so that when your family gets here they see you are mated . That’s the best thing for right now. ….i wish you every happiness. “

I turned on my heel and stopped at the stairs,”Do me a favor zane. Don’t ever speak to me again. Then…I can live happily. Goodbye.”

I walked upstairs to my room and got Kaden ready for bed all the while thinking im the biggest idiot in the entire world.

As i layed kaden down to sleep and sat on the side of the bed , my heart aching. I took a deep breathand nodded. It was worth it..

KNOCK.KNOCK.KNOCK

I looked at the door as Sam entered . He didnt ask questions he just came and wrapped his arms around me pulling me into his arms. I inhaled his scent and buried my head into his shoulder.

He stroked my hait lovingly," its alright dear. it will indeed i get better.i promise."

I looked up at him and nodded resolve darkening my voice," i know it will ." I looked over at Kaden and my resolve strenghtened.

I felt Sams arms tense up around me,"leah...what the hell are you thinking?"

I leaned away from his embrace and stood up walking over to my closet.  I moved things around in my closet till i came across a large black duffle bag and a a huge camo bookbag. I took them out and laid them on the bed.

Sam took up a look of panic going across his face," leah?"

I didnt respond and i went back over to the closet and grabbed bunchs of Kadens clothes and mine stuffing them in the bag . I squatted down by the bed and pulled a couple of pairs of shoes for each of us and put them in the bag. Sam reached for my arm but easily evaded his hand and ran into the bathroom grabbing the nesscities . When i come back into the room Sam is watching me with hard eyes.

A growl rumbled in his chest,"Leah this is dangerous...theres no need for this. "

I ignored him and kept packing.

The door opened again and i looked to see Sophia with a confused expression on her face.

She walked in and closed the door behind her,"um whats going on?"

I smiled at her,"im going away for a while."

Wild panic crossed her expression,"what?why?where?"

I shrugged," i dont know yet, but i wont stay here....i cant."

Sophia ran over to me and grabbed my hands tightly tears filling her eyes," but you cant leave..."

I pulled my hands away gently," i have to Sophia...you know i do."

Sophias lip trembled slightly and she looked at the ground. I yanked her into a tight hold closing my eyes . I fought the urge to cry as sobs coursed through her frame.

I rubbed her back trying to console myself as well as her," Dont worry about us..were going to be fine."

Sophias voice was muffled by my shoulder,"us?"
