Chapter 14

I frowned and looked at her hand ,"help me?"

Christy rolled her eyes,"i like you so I'm going to help you out. but we need to hurry and come up with some kind of plan before they get here.They are almost upon us.Are you in or are you out?"

I stared at her hand then smirked,"im in."I held up kaden with one arm and reached out with other and gave her a firm handshake.We grinned at each other and looked at Zane."

He leaned against the front door and looked up at the sky,"oh boy....these two becoming Friends......what the hell have i gotten myself into.?"

"friends?" i looked at Zane incredously."when did i say i was becoming her friend?"

Christy nodded and let go of my hand,"what she said. This is a agreement or truce for now. But when this over..best believe i will fight for you zane. your mine .always."

A growl rumbled in my chest and i glared at her,"i would watch your mouth because this truce is about to be over before it begins. best believe i will kill you if you try."

I saw a flash of fear in Christys eyes causing me to smirk but it was gone as soon as it came . Christy lifted her chin and crossed her arms glaring at me.

I felt a light pat on my cheek and turn to look at kaden ," what is it hmm?"

Kaden points at christy . I frowned and handed kaden to christy.

She smiled,"awww he likes me . are you here to apologize,little one?."

Kaden stared at her for a moment then started playing in her hair . A small smiled appeared on kadens face and his little hand curled into her hair .

"kaden" i crossed my arms over my chest and shook my head.

Kaden pouted and looked down .

I sighed ," go ahead kaden. i dont like her anyway."

Kaden grinned and yanked christys head back giggling as she screamed .

Christy flashed her fangs at him and threw him away from her. I watched in horror as Kaden flew off the porch . A breeze flew past me and a blur of movement to fast for my eyes to catch.

Zane knelt on the ground in front of the porch cradling kaden gently in his arms with his head bowed.

I sagged with relief against the door then  ran over to them taking kaden from zane. His tiny body trembled in fear and my blood heated . i turned toward christy and before i could say anything. I heard a low rumbling feral growl . I looked behind me to see Zane staring at Christy his eyes blood red.

Christy looked at Zane in horror,"Z-zane ..Zane im sorry..look i didnt know what i was doing." Christy backed up fearfully as ZAne stood up and walked toward her,

I watched as i tucked kaden close to my chest and rubs his back trying to ease his fear.

Zane slamed christy in to the wall and snapped his teeth in her face," If you EVER touch my son again ill rip your throat out."

My eyes widen as i heard Zane call Kaden his son and i looked down at Kaden whos face was expressionless. But i knew he understood....But i cant understand how a child his age is so serious.

Christys face turned ashen as he started to choke the life out of her.

I sighed. i didnt like the bitch but if anyone was going to kill her it was going to be me....and i know zane would regret it...
