Y/N's POV

**Christmas Eve**
"And what does Hermione Granger have that I don't?"
Sabrina's voice sliced through the quiet room, equal parts dramatic offense and sleepy rasp. Her head popped up from the crook of my arm, hair a storm of blonde curls going in every possible direction. The morning light haloed her in a way that made the question even funnier.
I blinked at her, still groggy, still warm from the weight of her body sprawled over mine. "Magic powers," I said simply, as if it were self-explanatory.
She gasped, clutching her chest like I'd personally wounded her. "Wow. Wow. So you're choosing wizard supremacy over your loving, beautiful, pop star human girlfriend?"
"She throws spells," I argued. "And punches. And knows all the answers. Beating that is a tall order."
"Oh my God," she groaned, rolling onto her back in exaggerated despair. "I'm losing my girlfriend to Hermione Granger."
I nudged her side. "It's a joke."
"Is it?" she said, narrowing her eyes. "Or are you looking at her the way you look at me?"
"Relax," I laughed. "This was a middle school thing. Pre-everything awareness era. A dark time."
"So you're saying she was your gay awakening," Sabrina pressed, finger in my face. "And I wasn't."
"I didn't meet you until I was already very, very gay."
"So Hermione gets credit for discovering your sexuality—"
"She didn't discover it—"
"—and I'm what? The sequel?"
"You're like... the director's cut. The better version. The one that actually wins awards."
She blinked. "...that was smooth."
"Thank you."
"But I'm still mad," she huffed.
"You absolutely are not."
"I absolutely am."
"You absolutely—"
She cut me off by suddenly swinging a leg over me, straddling my hips with the practiced ease of someone who knew exactly what she was doing and exactly what it did to me.
Her palms landed on my chest, warm through my shirt. "Tell me again," she said, eyes lowering in mock challenge, "what Hermione Granger has that I don't."
"Uh—magic?" I offered.
She leaned down, lips brushing the corner of my mouth. "Could she do this?"
Before I could answer, she kissed along my jaw, slow and teasing, her breath warm against my throat. Her hair slid over my cheek, her fingers curling into my shirt, her hips settling against mine in a way that made it very, very clear she wasn't playing fair.
"Sabrina..." I murmured with a laugh, half warning, half invitation.
"Mmm?" she hummed, kissing lower.
"You're trying to win an argument."
"And?" Her teeth grazed my skin lightly. "Let me win."
I laughed breathlessly — then sighed as she pressed a soft, deliberate kiss to my neck.
