Poking at his neck I frown, "Why are they not showing now?" Huffing I prod his neck again, watching how he tenses, gritting his teeth together and swatting my hand away as his skin turns red.

"Mmph," I grumble at the swat, watching his peculiar reaction, making him flustered when I lean in closer, peering up with large wide eyes. "You've not shown me the gills and teeth..." My frown is prominent as I look at him, poking him once again and causing him to smack his hand against mine as if I were a petulant child. But his face was red, eyes to the side looking away from me as his neck reddens even more.

"May I see it again?" I ask, peering up.

Suddenly he looks down at me, flustered, eyes wide and stuttering, "No, absolutely not, it was an accident, you shouldn't have seen it... Speaking of, what's with the gems huh, and the glowing? You're lucky it's prank day, no one really questions weird shit..." He pushes my prodding hand again and I let my eyes narrow in on him before I huff out smoke and move away, removing myself from such close proximity and standing up straight again.

"It is not, weird shit. It is completely normal...besides, they have wonderous health benefits, you would probably know that if you'd eat things other than the humans chemically made pasta."

"Woah, Ravioli is not chemically made first off and second I'm not a Phoenix, I'm not gonna eat rocks," He growls his words at me, pulling on my shoulder to turn me back towards him.

"Well you clearly have no taste in the world's delicacies, but that is not my fault, is it? Now, show me the gills," I growl back at him.

Kent scoffs, poking my shoulder with a harsh jab of his index finger, "Not a chance, why do you glow huh?" My eyes flick down to his hand and the sudden thought to bite his finger pops up into my mind before I make a gurgling coo and smack his hand away, mimicking his earlier action.

Suddenly the thought changes and my eyes narrow, humming. I make a noise and turn, crossing my arms under my chest. "I see, so it must only be for Sasha and your own kind to see," I feign my dissatisfaction, waiting, knowing he'd cave soon enough if I kept the act of disappointment up also knowing I'd hit a possessive nerve.

Right as he sighs and I let the smirk on my face grow I spot my father who looks around, grabbing his pocket watch to check the time before his eyes land on my form. A frown takes over the smirk on my face and I huff.

Kent wraps himself over my shoulders, mumbling to himself, not yet seeing the man. Before he can go any farther I grab his wrist gently, sighing as I remove his arms and take a step forward, "Hold your thoughts beloved..."

Kent frowns, watching me step away before his eyes shift up towards the man and he starts to follow me as I walk forward. I pass by a coffin wrapped in chains, the stare of the boy covering it in garlic cloves making my brow tick with a twitch of a nerve. I stop, looking at him dead on, hearing his swallow before I grab the cold metal lock and yank.

The metal cracks before the bolting twist of an arm crumbles like stone and falls apart leaving the locks heart in my hand. I drop it, nose twitching as I narrow my eyes.

Kent stands behind me, reaching past me to lift the lid, a smell of pneumonia and hair dye wafting up before I look down, "Yoko..." I greet as Kent pushed the lid off onto the startled boy. She sits up, fangs out as she grips the edge of the coffin, looking to her side at the boy who'd trapped her before hissing.

Humming my head tilts, then Kent moves around me, hand sliding across my lower back before slipping itself into my own hand, grasping at me comfortably. The sizzle makes my skin crawl in a delectable way as I glance to my side at him, looking up curiously at the way he melds into my own actions with such an air of symbiosis.
