As soon as I walk out of my room I am bombarded with cameras and microphones.
"King are you and your daughter going to be an angel killing duo?" a reporter asks
"Lucifer, are you prepared if heaven wants revenge?" another reporter asks
"I ... uh wait what?" I say very confused with what is going on right now
I try to get past them to try and find Charlie or Alastor but no luck they start swarming me. I'm starting to get anxious, and I just freeze with confusion. Just then I feel my arm being touched. It's Alastor. Leading me away from the crowd and into a tiny room that I had no idea existed.
"Are you okay Luci?" Alastor asks with a concern look on his face
"Yes, no, uh maybe idk that was a lot all at once and i have never been good in front of a camera" I say
"I understand, I hate cameras as well" he says with a slight smile
"I didn't say I hated them, I just prefer them to be out of my face" I say
"Right" he says
"So, what is going on, why is there so many reporters here?" I ask
"Well, we did just have a huge battle with angels and their head angel who happens to be your ex-wife's-ex-husband who did die from nifty and it was under Charlie's command so that's basically the gist of it" Alastor explains
"Ah right, I kind of forgot about that prick" I say
"We all did until today" says Alastor
We hear them asking Charlie all these questions about killing angels and where they can sign up. Just as I was about to go and try and get her out of there, I heard Vaggie telling everyone to get out if they aren't here to be redeemed.
Oh, how I am so happy Charlie has found such a lovely person to spend her life with even if she is an angel. I trust her completely with my baby girl. As soon as everyone is gone, we come out of our hiding spot. I run over to Charlie to make sure she is okay.
"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" I ask
"I'm fine dad just a bit overwhelmed" she says
"Well try and take it easy, this should all blow over by morning" I say
"Yes dad" she says with a forced smile
I know it's hard, having all this pressure on you to do what is right as a ruler especially after watching a close friend get murdered but I hate seeing her so upset. I pull Alastor aside.
"I was thinking we could throw a party or do something special for Charlie, to show her how much we appreciate her" I say
"That sounds like a splendid idea, what did you have in mind?" he asks
"Uh well I don't really know since the last time I saw her was when she was little, I really don't know much of her interests anymore" I said, "Well besides girls and the hotel of course".
"Sounds like we need to brainstorm some ideas then" he says
"Good idea" I say
We head to the library where no one will be and try to think of some ideas. "What about a bouncy castle? Where all her friends could jump and play" I suggest
"Um well, while that is a good idea, I don't think she is much into playing Luci" Alastor says with a smirk
"You're right" I say, "what about a game night?"
"Do you remember what happened last time we did that?" Alastor states
He's right, last time we tried to a game night we were playing charades, and it was Charlie and angel dust turn. The word was lollipop. Charlie started licking something in her hand and Angel kept saying: penis, dick, shaft, member and any word that meant a men's genitalia. Needless to say, we never played another game night after that.
"Okay well what about a movie night" I suggest "wait never mind"
I remember what happened at the last movie night. It was Angel's turn to choose, and he chose a porno they stared in, and everyone was red in the face, especially husk. Vaggie had to shut it off quickly otherwise they would have seen more of their friend then they would prefer.
"Okay, what about dinner?" I suggest
"Are you asking for a date right now?" Alastor asks
"No, I mean not right now anyway, I meant, what about throwing a dinner party for her?" I say with a smile
"That could work" he says
"Yeah, we could cook some really good food, and we could all dress up in our fancy outfits" I say with excitement
"Alright when do we tell them "He asks
"Now" I say
