That day when I got home I threw my stuff on my bed and left the house. I sat in the front seat of my crappy little car and began driving to the store. The closest store was about 10 minutes away so my trip wasn't long. I hated being seen in a beauty supply store, so I quickly made my way into the store, bought my items, and left. When I got home I saw my mom was home early. "Hi Alex" she called from he kitchen. "Hi mom" I called, running up the stairs and into the bathroom.
I applied the bleach on my fringe and my shorter layers. Twenty minutes later and the bleach had set. Being the lazy person I am I turned the sink on and stuck my head in, washing the bleach out. My sopping wet hair sat on my head and dripped all over the floor. I grabbed a towel and dried my hair partially. I wanted to let it air dry before I added the rest of the dye to my hair. Within an hour my hair had dried, and I decided to open the second box of dye. I shook the bottle vigorously and watched the contents of the the plastic bottle change colors. Pouring the dye on the parts of my hair that I bleached, I let it seep in and do it's job. After waiting I hopped in the shower and washed all the dye out of my hair. The shower was stained pink and red and looked a mess. I just shrugged it off and dried my hair.
I strutted downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a soda from the fridge. "ALEX! YOUR HAIR!" My mother screamed. She scurried up to me and pulled at the pink and blonde patches on my head examining it. (WHOO WARPED TOUR ALEX) "Why would you do this?! Your hair was such a nice color!" I just shrugged and opened the soda. "I don't know why not?" I knew she was furious but she kept the anger to herself. My mom wasn't one to get angry easily. "I don't know why you did this, but I guess I'm okay with it" I could only chuckle. My mom seemed so innocent.

I guess school was okay. I was defiantly more noticed and I got a lot more attention then needed from both guys and girls, but especially Jack. Every time I looked at him I caught him staring at me. It wasn't just my hair that had changed either. It was my attitude and the way I dressed. My white v-neck that showed a little more skin than I was normally comfortable with, black skinnies that fucking sagged so low I reconsidered pants, and black and white nikes. Normally I wore an old t-shirt, jeans, and some vans. Rian was a bit unhappy with me and my appearance but I thought he would understand my reasoning.
I guess image really is everything these days. I was hit on by 4 girls, and Jack. Jack was eyeing me up all the time. During English I got up to sharpen my pencil and I could feel his eyes on me the whole time. It almost made me uncomfortable, but I enjoyed the fact that he was finally taking real notice to me. After class he even approached me.

Jack bit down on his lip looking at me before realizing I noticed him staring at me almost seductively. "Alex, you look amazing" I blushed slightly before coming back to reality. Play hard to get Gaskarth. You don't need him. "Thanks.. I guess" I rolled my eyes and looked away, trying to avoid any contact with his eyes. Those beautiful deep brown eyes that just sparkled whenever he smiled at you. That was rather feminine of me. "Y'know Alex there's going to be a huge party at Matthew's house this Friday, you should totally come" That was the first party I had ever been invited to and I was so excited. "I'll see if I can make it.." At this point Jack was like a puppy dog following me around and watching my every mood, this party was going to be great.

I flicked a piece of hair out of my eyes and looked at myself in the mirror. It was finally Friday night and that party was tonight. My phone buzzed in my pocket. A text from Jack.
Jack: hey you coming tonight? ;)
I decided to ignore the text for now and reply in about 10 minutes. Jack has no fucking idea what I'm doing to him and his head. He's losing it.
