My limbs practically shook as I made my way down the stairs and out of the music filled household. Even as Jack and I walked further down the sidewalk I could still hear the music faintly playing behind us.

We stumbled along, drunk as hell, until we reached a bench along the grass. I sat down and leaned my head back, looking up at the starry night. In my head I felt like we were in space it was amazing. "Feels like we're only so far away from the stars" Jack just hummed in agreement.

"We should go to my house, away from here" Jack turned to me. In the lighting we were in, plus the drunken state I was in I could only see the outline of his head and his eyes. "Are you okay to drive though?" He took alcohol a lot better than me, and I could tell he was already sobering up. "I'm fiiinnee" I slurred, standing up from the bench.

The two of us walked a little further down the sidewalk and to my car. Jack opened the door and sat in the passengers seat. I walked around the front of my car and to the drivers seat. Just as I opened the door I felt as though the wind was knocked out of me. I was falling for what felt like 10 minutes but was only a second or two. My back fell against something hard and everything went black.

~

Everything was still dark but I could hear. The sound of a minister beeping and footsteps were all I heard though. I could feel that someone else was in the room but I didn't know who. Where was I? What happened? All I could remember was who I was and all that other basic information about myself. Suddenly light was shining through.

My eyes fluttered open to a white tile ceiling and bright lights. I looked the left and there was a window, a small table with various items, and a bouquet of flowers. Looking over to my right I saw a male figure. Who was he? He looked familiar, but I didn't know who he was. His face lit up and turned around. "He's awake!" He yelled. My head began to pound. No loud noises. Please.

Another man rushed into the room with a clipboard in his hand. "Has he said anything?" The attractive male next to me just shook his head and stared at me in anticipation. The older man, who I assumed was a doctor, leaned closer to me. "How are you feeling Alex?" I groaned and tried to roll over before my right leg began to throb with pain. "My leg!" I yelped. The doctor furiously began to write down something on his clip board. He chuckled. "Well yes your leg is broken. You were hit by a car last night" That explaied why I felt so sore, but who was the guy next to me. I turned toward the raven haired boy and started intently at him. "But you can thank Jack here for calling 911"

Jack. Suddenly it all came back to me. The day he walked into my english class, that embarassing moment at lunch when I said hi to him, our first study session, the time he tried to hook up with me, and the party last night. All the memories of him were quickly rushing back to my head and I could only smile. "Unfortunatly you'll have to stay on crutches for about 8-10 weeks" The smile on my face faded and I groaned. Fuck that. Who's going to carry my school stuff? "Do I get to miss school at all?" The doctor laughed again. "Yes, but only for a few days, just so you can stay off your leg" That was totally fine with me.

I looked around the room noticing my mom wasn't there. "Where's my mom?" Jack replied before the doctor could even open his mouth. "She's at work, but she knows what happened" Nodding slowly I sat up. "You are being released today though" Jack practically squealed, "I'll be taking care of you until your mom gets back" This was going to get interesting

((A/N Yay! This only took me an hour to write so sorry if it sucks, but something interesting had to happen so Alex got hit by a car. I haven't been getting many comments :( BOO! C'MON PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COMMENT!!!!))
