James learning a new hand signal. To stick his middle finger out and he uses it everywhere. Like everywhere. And everybody is just like sick of seeing James Potter's middle finger. It spreads like a contagious disease to Sirius and now Hogwarts feels like breaking both their middle fingers.
James and Sirius holding their middle fingers in a way you would to make a pinky promise. Both saying " Fuckers for Life" and bursting into uncontrollable laughter after it.
After James' death, Sirius thinking of that laughter before he casts a patronus and nobody understands why he he sticks his middle finger out on top of the wand before casting it.
Sirius holding his middle finger and smiling and breaking into fits of laughter occasionally for seemingly no reason whenever anybody sticks his or her middle finger.
Sirius remembering his promise to James in fifth year and being an absolute and total annoying fucker for the rest of his life and just before falling through the veil he sticks his middle finger out as a last salute to himself and the Marauders.
