I Need Your Opinion

You there, on your laptop, PC, phone, whatever it is you use. Yes you, I am writing to you.

Were you looking for a new update? Sweetheart, I'm so sorry. I updated just today. Nah, this is not an update.

So, what could I want? The answer is, to put it very simply, your opinion.

Much as I would like to, I don't actually know you personally. I'd love to, but I don't.

Who are you? Are you one of my regular readers? Do you vote on all the parts and comment on the sad ones, telling me that I broke your heart? Or are you one of those silent regular readers who keep up with the story but don't make their presence known to me? Or maybe you're a Potterhead who decided to look up Marauder Headcanons and found my story.

But whoever you are, I have kept you hooked till now to this story. And I thank you for letting me keep you hooked till now. Trust me, every single read, every single vote and comment means wayyyy more to me than most other stuff.

You readers are everything to me. I think the readers mean everything to all writers. And that's why I am asking for your opinion.

If any of you have ever visited my profile, you'll know that I just have two stories. One is this and the other is TMI based.

But to be very honest, somehow these two don't satisfy me. No, don't get me wrong. I am more than satisfied with the whopping 8.5K+ reads and 930+ votes that you all have given me. Not to mention adding this story to your reading lists and commenting stuff that literally makes my entire day. I certainly don't mean dissatisfaction in that sense.

I really love to write. I love to put characters into situations that I have created. Writing gives me a sense of power, a sense of joy. And that is why this story does not satisfy me. All I have done is researched Marauder Headcanons, found the ones that either completely break my heart or make me roll around laughing, put them up here, expanding the lines, putting my own bits in and then publishing them. That is not actual writing is it ?

What I want to do is write fanfiction. I want to write HP fanfiction about my favourite couples. I want to put the ideas I've jotted down in my notebooks into stories. I want people to read them. I'm aware most are rubbish but I will do my best.

But I don't want to write stories which will have 10 reads and no comments. I want people to read my books. I want them to give me feedback and give me ideas.

And you reader, who has stuck with me through this long authors note till here can help me.

You might have been a silent reader till now, but not anymore. Tell me whether you want me to start writing actual fanfiction. Comment here, comment on my wall, PM me, whatever. But please tell me something. If I do start writing (which I will only if you give me positive feedback on this idea) I want you all to read. If you like what I'm writing tell me! If you don't, don't hesitate to criticise openly! If you think I write well, vote. I don't get offended by negative criticism as long as the language is not offensive.

But first and foremost, let me know what you think. I am really desperate for some replies. It will take you 30 seconds to write a comment. At the most a minute. Whatever you have to say, do say. Negative, positive, anything.

Just a few words telling me if you want me to start writing real fanfics or not. Please?
