Chapter 23- Richard

"Good morning."  Tristen's sitting in the living room.
"Good morning, how long have you been awake?"
"I just came out of the room. Thank you again ." 

"Anytime love." I pull her keys from the hook and hand them to her. " Breakfast?" 

"Sheesh, you do it all, I might have to find a man like you." She laughs and for the first time she's not sizing me up.

"One of a kind, sweet Tristen." I wink at her and win another giggle , a long with a head shake meaning don't get too cocky. I turn and head for my room.

"Hey Rich," she calls after me, a nickname I'd ever had before. "You don't want to wake Ryon without coffee ." 

I take her advice put on a cup before heading into the room.

Ryon is beautiful, I take a moment to take her in. Her hair is pulled up and her lips are parted slightly,  the sheet that was once wrapped around her is on the other side of the bed. Her chest rises and falls slightly and her arm is draped lazily over her stomach.  The love I feel for her in this moment is fervent. 
 
I sit beside her.

"Good morning." I kiss her forehead .
She doesn't move.

"Time to wake up." I'm enjoying waking her for the first time.

Her eyes open for a few seconds the look she gives me says she loves me but I should leave her the hell alone.

She pulls the sheet over her head and rolls over.

I laugh, and the coffee maker goes off in the kitchen .

"Out of bed, beautiful" I scoop her up and cradle her in my arms and he surprised scream turns to giggles. 

"Richard " My name fights it's way out of her mouth as she struggles to her feet she's pouting but the smile behind it lets me know it's okay. 

"Good morning." I smile and kiss her lips.
"Good morning."  She wraps her arms around my waist and lays other head on my chest.

I smile and wrap my arms around her once again.
"My sweet Ryon." I let my eyes fall shut as my lips find the top of her head.

This is my favorite place , anywhere with her.
