Luke buried his face in his drink, watching the slice of lime float around in his glass.

"Luke will you sit up straight? Your in an restaurant!"

"No mother, I'm in hell" he mumbled quietly, sure that no one could hear him.

Charlotte, who sat next to Luke and across from Jack, let out a stifled laugh, before clearing her throat in an attempt to it cover up.

"So Charlotte, are you looking forward to moving into the barn?" His father asked politely.

"Yes Mr Hastings" she smiled "your son has a real eye for design, it's beautiful inside" Charlotte added, grinning down at Luke who was staring intensely at the whiskey in her hand.

"Well, we were blessed with Gifted Children" Mrs. Hastings chuckled, raising her glass "and now a gifted soon to be Daughter in law, cheers"

"A toast" jack smiled "to the new addition to our family"

The family clinked glasses, before Charlotte, bumped arms with Luke roughly, placing her glass on his side, picking up his lemonade and taking a sip, being able to swap the glasses without anyone noticing?

It's fair to say Luke was impressed.

Jealousy.

It was the only way to sum it up.

Luke was jealous of jack.

As he stood from his bedroom window and watched jack press a kiss to her lips, her soft, pastel pink lips.

He shook his head.

He needed to get a grip.

Charlotte wasn't his.

But that didn't mean he wasn't going to stop trying.

The Hastings brother rivalry was about to get a whole lot more interesting.

His computer let out a ring, and Luke was pulled from his train of thought, setting down at his desk, his stomach twisted at the sight in front of him.

Oh Luke, always wanting something you can't have.

Just remember, you kiss, I tell.
