Future Card Buddyfight: Buddy Invasion!

The match between Cedar Hill and West was pretty normal (for a Buddyfight at least), until Red's turn. "Draw, charge and draw. Alright time to show my new power. I pay 2 gauge and call Shadow Striker, Abyssinian Knight!" The monster was a possessed knight. There was mist flowing out of the armor and it had glowing eyes. It carried a giant lance, prepared to strike. Everyone was shocked, including the schools. One of their opponents tried to be brave. "You can't pass my monster with 10000 defense!" "We'll see about that. I'll pay 2 life to use Abyssinian Knight's effect! Once per turn, I can copy another monster's power and defense!" "That means..." "My Knight has 10000 power and defense!" The knight grew in size until it was hovering the monster and opponent. "This is the power of the shadows! Finish this fight! Abyssinian Strike!" The knight pulled back it's lance and stabbed through the monster and into the fighter. The match was over. Final Score: Red-6, Suguha-8, Opponents-0

"Wasn't that a little bit harsh Red?" Suguha asked. "Go big, or go home. They just couldn't handle it." He said. "You're right." They laughed while leaving the stage. The one who was struck by Abyssinian Knight, was unconscious. They brought out a stretcher and carried him away. The crowd didn't know what happen but they were disturbed. In the waiting room, Tai cletch his teeth. "Tch, who do they are doing things like that?" Rosena seem puzzled. "That mist. It seems so... familiar. Tai, can you let Kurumi and I fight them?" Tai saw her face. She was determine to find out what it was. All he could was smile. "Since we're fighting Hallie and Charles, I'm probably gonna be tired." He had his hands behind his head. He was clearly acting, but she didn't care. "Really?! Thank you!" She suddenly hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" "Yeah, yeah." "Will Highpoint Academy and New Leaf Middle please come to the stage." "Looks like we up. Ready Blair?" "Yep!" 

When they made it to the stage, Hallie and Charles were already there. "Hey Big Sis!" She was waving at her. Blair waved back. "Hi Hallie." "Freaky stuff that just happened. The tension in here is scary." "I agree." Tai said. "So lets show them what a real Buddyfight looks like!" "That's my Master. Ready for anything." "Alright! Let's do this! A quest isn't fun without friends. Let's show them what we mean! Luminize, Adventurer's Guild!" "The nature's forces are nothing to play around with! Luminize, Dragondance of the Elementals!" "Charge and draw. I pay 1 gauge to set Dragonverse. When a monster with Lifelink appears on my field, I gain a life. How we start of this match with a bang?" "Blair." Tai whispered. She nodded. "I got it. Don't worry, I know that he is planning that." "I call Magmanova, Glacies, and Vragos. I gain 3 life due to Dragonverse's effect. I retire Vragos to call Thundertornado. I lose 1 life due to Lifelink, but gain 1 due to the effect. Now here it comes! I retire all my monsters and pay 3 gauge. With the monsters in my drop zone, they fuse together! Form the deeps of the primal elements, descend from the heavens! I buddycall to the center, Space Dragon Emperor Galiazond!" The elemental dragon appeared on the field and spread his multi-colored wings. "I have Galiazond attack Blair! I end." Tai went second. 

"Draw, charge and draw. I call Boomerang Dragon to my center. I set Dragon Return System. I pay 1 gauge to set Green Dragon Knight 'Song of Ancient Lands'. Then I cast Dragonic Charge. I think I'll follow your lead Charles. I pay 2 gauge. Born from an inferno, the fiery whirlwind appears on the battlefield! Lets go to the left, my buddy, Rising Flare Dragon!" The dragon flew to the left and let out a roar. "I pay 1 gauge and discard a card to equip, Dragonblade Dragobrave. Flare and Boomerang attacks Galiazond!" "I cast Dragon Outlaw! Galiazond attack Flare!" Galiazond deflected their attack, and launched ice scales at Flare destroying him. "It's up to you now." "I attack Hallie then end. I have to admit. It seems that the both of you have grown stronger." "Yeah, but the real fun's just getting started!" Hallie said. "Bring it!"
