When the gang returned to HQ, the place was crazy! Everyone seem to be rushing out of the place like ants. "What is going on here!" Luke declared. Stella quickly came up to him. "Well you see, the rest of the BP's main unit has returned but Yudai and Tyson are in bad condition." "Did they receive treatment?" "They are getting it as we speak but that's the least of our worries." Luke was puzzled. "What do you mean?" "Watch this." Stella set up a video on the big screen. "We got a message from Tai." "Play it." Tai said without hesitation. "Are you sure?" Luke asked. "This could be a trap." "Is the commander scared?" Tai mocked him. Luke grit his teeth. "Proceed." Stella played it.

The other Tai was in his throne with Roderick and Henry beside him. Blair gasped. "Henry." Then the memory of their fight and Cara's words appeared in her head. "His heart is crying, so it's my job to help him. For better or for worst." Tai began to speak. "Hello Guardian Wielders. Nice day out isn't?" He got up. "All of the hope and light of this world is leaving and it's just so satisfying! I bet you guys want to 'save the world' and 'defeat me'." It was clear that he was provoking them. Charles clenched his fist together. "Why I outta-" "Calm yourself." Hallie said snapping him out of it. "It's just a video." They continued to watch it. "Well, if you guys think you protect this world, then let's have some fun." He sat back down. "This is what I propose to you. You, the Guardian Wielders, versus my special team. If you guys win, well you can fight me for a chance to save the world!" He said dramatically. "But if you guys lose, not only I get your Guardian, but you'll become one of my fighters for Shadow World! If you guys accept, then meet me at here." A map appeared on screen. "You guys have 3 days to accept. Hope to see you soon." He said with a sly grin. The video ended.

The gang just stood there in silence. "I guess there's one thing to do." Tai said while stretching. "Agreed." Blair said. "When do we start?" Charles said. "Let's go now!" Hallie said. "What about it Commander?" They looked at Luke who had his arms crossed. Then he sighed. "The world needs saving and we're going to stop him!" They cheered. "Stella, can you watch the place till I get back?" "Right!" "Agreed right guys let's go!" They proceed towards the door then, "Wait!" They turn to see Masayo behind of them. "Let me come too." "Look Masayo, you're a good fighter but this is something we have to do." Luke explained. "But I want to help out too! I can't just stand on the sidelines while my friends are risking their lives. I was helpless during Blair's, Rosena's and Kurumi's fight. Then they died right in front of me. I can't have that happen again! So please." He was about to cry. "Please." Tai walked pass Luke and stop in front of Masayo. "You have a good heart. We'll need that." Masayo was surprised. "Does that mean?" Tai nodded. "Let's defend the world together." Masayo dried his tears. "Right!"

Tai and the gang stood in front of an abandoned building. "This is it guys." Tai started. "The time to defend the world has come. Let's show them what we got!" "Yeah!" The walked into the building. They were in a empty room with a flight of stairs but it had an eerie feel to it. "This just shouts creepy." Hallie said. Then a figure appeared on top of the flight of stairs. "I'm so grateful that you guys are here!" Then a light turned on revealing the room to be an old Buddyfight stage. The figure was the other Tai. "So where's you 'special team'?" Charles asked. "Why they're right here." Some more people appeared next to him. The gang couldn't believe their eyes. "No way?!" "It can't be?!" "How did this happen?" The other Tai just laugh. "Oh my this is too good. Guardian Wielders! Meet my Guardian Devastators!" Tai stared the other one Tai down. "He won't get a way with this." Let the final battles begin.
