The match was over and Jordan fell over. "B-b-but how?!" Masayo took a breath. "Let's just say, I really don't like cocky people." Jordan was speechless. Hallie whistled. "I like this boy." Masayo gave Jordan a hand. "Now keep your deal." "Fine!" He left. Masayo turned to the girls. "I guess everything is good now." "How come you helped us?" Hanna asked. "That boy seem like he was bothering you, so I stepped in." "But that's not all, is it?" Rosena said. Masayo rubbed his head. "You're right." His expression turned serious. "Lately, Buddyfight has made a sudden turn for the worst." "What do you mean?" "A new world has appeared, but it's not good." "What is it?" Anna asked. "Shadow World." They gasped. "When fighters lose against this world, some go in a coma, some buddies are taken, or they go missing all together." "That's horrible!" He agreed. "That's why, I'm trying to find the Shadow World users and stop them." The girls nodded at each other. "We have someone you need to see." Blair said. "He will help you out in a heartbeat." Rosena finished. "Alright then. Let's go!"

In the abandoned building, purple energy was flowing into a huge orb. Roderick was monitoring it. The boy walked into the room. "How's the plan going?" "Milord, it is going well. He has really done a good job." "I figured he would. Will it be ready as planned?" "Sire, whenever you're ready." "Splendid." He walk into another room, where there were fighters and Shadow World monsters. "The time has come my servants! We will bring a new age as the Shadows will conquer all! Now you know the mission, to capture Tai and destroy him along with the Guardians!" Everyone is getting excited. Roderick activated a button on the orb. It created a portal in the sky. "Now, go out there and cast Shadows!" "YES SIRE!" They ran out of the building and into the portal. "It has begun."

At the shop, Masayo was telling everyone the story. "That's not right." Tai said. "Why did they do this?" At that moment, the T.V changed stations. It was on a room with a boy not showing his face. It was on every single station. "What's going on?!" "Why did it change?!" "Greetings, lowlife. I bet you a want to know what's going on? Well, today is the day when history is made! The Shadows will conquer all!" Then portals all over the world appeared and fighters and monsters emerged from it. "We will smash all ounces of light! Now I think it's time to reveal myself." He came closer and the world was shocked, especially Tai. "No way.... he's, he's, me..."

The boy looked exactly like Tai just with red eyes. "My name is Tai Rhinehart. And I'm the leader of the Shadow Dragons!" " Why, why am I on that screen?!" He's thought was interupted by Charles. "Um, Master we have company!" A hoard of monsters were coming. "Tch! Why now?" Tyson said. Kids in the shop were scared. Tai saw them then made a decision. "Luke, watch the kids and the gang." He knew exactly what he was thinking. "Don't do it!" Tai smiled then ran out the shop. "Hey monsters! Follow me!" He lead the monsters away from the shop. "TAI!" Blair tried to go after him, but Rosena grabbed her arm. "I'm going and nobody can stop me." "Blair, think before..." She shook her grip off. "I'm going." She ran after him. "Aren't you going to stop her?" Kurumi asked. "There's no use. Her mind is set, and it won't change." Hallie explained. "This just went from bad to worse." Tyson said.

Tai was running as fast as he can from the monsters. Once he was far enough, he turned into his Spirit Mode. He called out Flare and equipped Dragonblade Dragobrave. "You ready?" Flare change into Heat Edge. "Yeah." They both charged at the monsters, destroying them while putting up a fight. They were surrounded quickly though. "There's just too many of them!" Flare said. "I know but we have to go on!" Then a beam appeared out of nowhere. Tai saw who it was. "Blair! Hearty!" Blair was also in her Spirit Mode. "We're here to help." "It's dangerous!" "And you're out here." "Yeah, but..." A giant hand appeared out of a portal and grab Flare. "FLARE!" "Oh no." Flare was being dragged into the portal. "Wait Flare! I won't lose you again!" He ran after him, but remembered about Blair. "Take this and go on." She handed him a card. "But..." "We'll be fine go!" He saw her face and she was determined. "Stay safe!" He ran after Flare into the portal, then it closed. Tai and Flare were gone. Now Hearty and Blair were surrounded. "Well." "Well." "This will end in a bang." "Agreed."
