Now, I call out Rising Flare Guardian, Brave Lancer Dragon. Now I gain a life and charge my gauge due to my spells. Next I pay 1 gauge and place this over Brave Lancer." He hold up a card in the air. "The fiery whirlwind has been reborn once again! Now appear on the battlefield and show us the power of the bluish flames! I buddycall to the left, Sacred Guardian Rising Flare Helios!" "Let's do this!" "I gain a life and charge my gauge. I use Flare's effect! Since I have a Flare weapon, he can destroy all your monsters!" "Helios Oblivion!" He unleashed a blue heat wave destroying Nova Crusher. "Since there's a Rising Flare monster on the field, it gains 1000 power and an extra critical. Now I have him attack you directly! Then me!" Blair looked Flare. "That is a nice dragon there. Can't wait to get it." She said. "You won't get Flare!" "Oh come on. Did you think you can actually win?" She taunted. "Of course! I will defeat you to get Blair and the other Guardians back!" She rolled her eyes. "Here we go again. I'm stand right here. I'm Blair. So just give up." "No. I will give up. So you either, okay Blair? I will save you!" In a cloudy place, Blair was in a ball made out of shadows. Her eyes were lifeless. "Nobody will come. I have failed. The Shadows will win." And she just keep repeating those lines. The one fighting Tai started her turn. "It's pointless. Draw, charge and draw. A grin appeared on her face." "Oh no." Masayo said. He recognized that look. It was the one she had before Rosena and Kurumi were defeated. "Tai be careful! Her big move is about to happen!" He warned him. Tai nodded back. "I pay 2 gauge. Dark Witch, come forth and lay waste to this land and those who rebel! I buddycall Witch of Discord, Hearty the Chaotic!" Tai got a good look a Hearty. "So this is her new look up close." "And she will be the end of you! I use her effect to draw a card since I have 2 Shadow Strikers in the drop zone. I use Midnight's effect to copy Flaresword's effect! I gain a life and charge my gauge. Then I discard a Dark Arts card to destroy your weapon! Now for her ultimate effect. I pay 3 life and discard my hand. Now Hearty will copy Flare!" A Shadow copy of Flare beside Blair. "Since I have a Rising Flare monster on the field, my weapon gains 1000 power and an extra critical. And since I have a Flare weapon equipped, Flare can destroy you monster! Rebellion Oblivion!" Flare came back due to Soulguard. "Now my Flare attacks Tai!" Tai braced himself for the attack. "Then me!" She slashed him and knock him back a little bit.  "Snap out of it Blair!" He yelled while recovering himself. "Don't do this!"

In the space, Blair heard something very faint. "Sn- out o- it Bla-!" She started to recognize the voice. "Tai?" "Don't do this!" Life started to return to her eyes. "Tai! I'm here! I'm in here!" Then she heard him again. "Break through the shadows!" "I will." Then she tried to get out of the ball. "Now Flare. Finish h-" She started to hold her head. "How are you moving?" Then she was trying  finish the command. "Finish h-" "Atta-" Masayo was confused. "What is happening?" Tai then smiled. "Blair is coming back." Masayo was speechless. Tai was encouraging her. "That's it Blair! Keep fighting!" She started to yell in pain. The shadows were leaving her body. After it was gone. Blair was just standing there with her head down. It was completely silent. "Blair?" Tai called. After a moment, she lifted her up revealing her face. "I did it Tai." He couldn't believe it. "I'm back."
