Jordyn's POV:

I laid on the cabin couch, fearing for my life. Ever since my toes were bruised from the mysterious organism, it has set back mine and Ally's traveling time.

My gut started to knot and a lump in my throat was starting to form, I was about to cry. I don't want to live this way anymore, it's not living, it's not fighting; I shouldn't be afraid 24/7. Ally ran in the room just before the salty tears left my eyes, "Hey I found a note." she said gently. She handed it to me and sat at the end of the couch by my feet:

BONJOUR SUIVANTE HUMAINS JE VOUS PARLE ET QUE VOUS SANCHIEZ LE DIABLE EST ENFIN LA ET IL VENIR POUR VOUS

I gave Ally a look and she shrugged. "I can't translate this." I admitted, I would've typed it in my phone but I lost it once we left our house in a hurry. "I want to go." she whispered as she looked down at her hands. "Where?" "To find our family." Ally gave me a stern look and got up to the kitchen, leaving me alone and helpless.

I finally got up the next morning. My mind wouldn't let me physically get up, I just kept thinking about my family and also how comfy I was in the bed. "Ally!" I screamed downstairs; no answer. I slowly got up by myself, trying not to put much pressure on my toes. 1 step, 2 step, 3 step, PAIN! "Ally!" I yelled her name again, still no answer. I began frantically looking everywhere for her, but I saw her nowhere. Great, now my little sister is missing and I have no one else...
