Dom's POV

Deytan, Allison and I walked in silence, kicking the dirt under us. "There's Woodys! Right up the road I can see it." We lite up like candles in a dark room. "Good thing." I smiled, it is starting to get dark but the closer we got, the closer we got to our family.

We got onto the road towards Lori's. It was great to finally have hope. We stopped at an old house for the night, we were able to find a few cans of hash. We also spent the night away.

Allison's POV

We were so close. So close that it was almost like I could already hear everyone's familiar voices. We were so close I could feel the warmth as I hugged Felicity with all my might. The closer we got the more and more I could hear Tyler's familiar deep voice.

I couldn't sleep that night because of the excitement and of just having hope. I found a Fray cd in a big pile of cds along with Maroon 5, Metallica, Kiss and so many others. Issac's silk, beautiful, voice drifted through the quiet speakers. I listened to him as he sang with pure perfectness

Lost and insecure, You found me, you found me, Lying on the floor, Where were you? Where were you?

I started to cry, but I kept my whimpers quiet because Dom and Deytan were in the rooms beside this one. I just want my family.

Jordyn's POV

I cradled her in my arms, she's so tiny. I tried not to put my whole attention on the small child I've now claimed, we had a mission before I found the baby and we still have one. That's to find my family. We stopped at an abandoned house, and I put the now sleeping baby on the semi-clean couch. "We need to find food and anything else we can use. Lori's house is only maybe another hour or two walk that's it," Jennifer flashed me a fake smile as she turned on her heel and left towards the kitchen.

I met Jennifer in front of the fridge, she was packing grocery bags full of cans, boxes, and any other packages she could get her hands on. "Do you see anything for Bailey in there?" I asked as I scooted in front of her and scanned the fridge for baby foods. "Bailey?" she chuckled in front of my face, I gave her a confused look and she sat down at the table. "Jordyn don't you think you're going a little far with this? A baby during the zombie apocalypse? Let's not forget that you're only 18." I brushed her off and checked the fridge again. Yogurt, spoiled two weeks ago, it should be okay. I put it in the bags anyways, Bailey can eat that even though she's not quite food ready yet. There was an unopened container of juicy juice on the counter, I grabbed that too. "We leave in the morning?" I asked Jennifer, facing her, she nodded. "Just promise me Jordyn, that Bailey's health won't come before yours." Before I could say any smart remark back she left.

I rocked Bailey in the rocking chair as I cooed her. "It's okay Bailey, I'm here now." She squirmed in my arms until she finally fell asleep, her blue eyes getting heavier with every second passing by. I rubbed my finger across her chubby cheek and I kissed her forehead. "Goodnight," I smiled at her.
