Deytan's POV:

Eli where are you? Life isn't the same without you, I'm so sorry for always fighting with you. I love you so much. My mind wouldn't let me sleep, even though Dom was in deep sleep next to me. We broke into a hotel last night after getting chased by a few zombies for about a mile. We also stopped at Dick's Sporting Goods store for more bullets and clothes. It's been three weeks since Eli died and I still think, could he feel his blood getting hotter and his body getting colder? He didn't deserve to die the way he did.

I pick up my dignity and hope and dragged it along with me this far, but I can't anymore. Nobody is required to live this way, and I don't want to do it anymore. If I go outside tomorrow early, Dom won't be awake and he won't know. That's my plan, one bullet that's all it takes. For now, I have to get some sleep.

I grabbed my handgun that was beside my bed, and headed outside. The spring morning pricked my bare skin and my fingers started to burn slowly, I could feel my lips instantly becoming chapped. I went to the left side of the building and laid my back against the wall, it's time..

Clicks rung in my ear as I loaded the gun in my hands. I starred at the barrel of the gun as it taunted me with inanimate laughing. I closed my eyes one last night and put my finger on the trigger.

All of a sudden I heard my name, but no one was around, I doubled checked before I got out my gun. "Deytan don't do it!" I heard again and again, each time it was getting closer. But I couldn't interpret who's voice it was. Someone knocked the gun out of my hands, and onto the ground. She wrapped her arms around me and started crying, it was Ally...

I couldn't tell her how happy I truly was to see her. Ally only went up to the middle part of my chest, she's always been so small and three years younger than me. I ran my fingers through her hair, "How'd you find me?" I asked, "I've been walking for days, and then I see you with a gun to your head!" she pushed me away, "Ally, Eli is dead." I let the words hang in the air as I starred down at my hands. Her and Eli were always so close, they were only one year apart but they went to school together and were rebellious together. Ally fell to the ground as the tears started coming down a lot more, I picked her up and took her upstairs. That's only one of my cousins where are the other five?
