Scarlett’s POV

You know how you get the feeling that something is going to happen? But you can’t quite figure out what? And you know it isn’t going to be good?

That’s the feeling I have right now and it is eating at me.

“What’s wrong Scarlett?” Julian asks me for the hundredth time from his spot next to me on the couch.

“I don’t know.” I scowl at the wooden floor. “I just have a feeling that something is going to happen.”

“Will you at least try to relax?” He asks taking my hand.

“Yeah, but I don’t know if it would work.” I reply swiftly.

“That’s it. We are going for a walk.” He says getting up in one, quick, graceful movement.

“What? Why?” I whine, “It’s cold outside!”

“So?” he asks while getting me up off of the couch. “Come on.” He says pulling me up completely.

“Fine.” I say, agreeing to go. “Where are we going though?”

“I’m not telling you.” he states and begins walking toward the front door.

“Why?” I say drawing out the y. God, I’m in such a whiney mood at the moment.

“Because I said so.” He says releasing a beautiful smile.

“Whatever.” I grumble but secretly smile.

“I can see the smile you are trying to hid.” He says looking down at me.

“I’m not smiling.” I say and a real smile fills my face.

After a few minutes of walking in the freezing cold through the forest, which is muddy, Julian put his hands over my eyes.

“Hey!” I protest.

“Come on. Humor me?”

“Okaaay.”

After about another minute of walking when finally come to a stop and he takes his hands off of my eyes.

“Oh, my, god!” I say turning towards Julian. “It’s beautiful!”

I hug him.

The scene before me is beautiful. There is a huge lake that as a thin layer of ice over it and above that there is a tree that leans over the lake. There are two swings hanging from the tree. The tree is beautiful itself, with its golden leaves that are all beginning to fall off, and are beginning to pile up on the ground.

“Are we going on the swings?” I ask him excitedly, pointing at them.

“If you want.” he says smiling at me.

“Lets go!” I chirp walking over towards the tree where they are.

When we got to the tree I thought that we would have to climb it but it turns out that there are steps dug into the wood, making it easier to climb.

Julian made me get up into the tree first saying that it was so he could catch me if I fell.

Sure.
