Azriel’s POV

Dear Pierce Family,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I know you have Scarlett Montgormery, the Seer. I am also informing you that I will be coming for her. I know how to protect my thoughts and future from her so she won’t even be able to see when I am coming.

Be prepared, I have heard you will fight for her but so will I.

Azriel.

There. That should do it.

I quickly write Pierce on the front of the envelope and put the letter inside.

“Lilliana?” I call to the girl sitting at the bottom of my stairs.

“Yes?” She asks and turns around to face me.

“The letter is ready. You may go back to the Pierce house now.” I tell her.

“Thank you.” She says, runs up the stairs and leans up to kiss me on the cheek.

As I watch her in fascination she clicks her fingers three times, mutters a few words and disappears.

“One month from now, you will be mine Scarlett.”

Lillianas POV.

“This was on the front door step.” I say as I chuck the letter at Julian as I pass him in the hallway on the way to my room.

“Uh, thanks?” He says awkwardly and continues to walk. Probably to Scarlett. Ehhh.

Oh well, she’ll be gone soon anyway I just have to wait until then. I smile and continue walking.

Scarlett’s POV.

Three days later.

“What was the letter about?” I ask Julian as I curl up next to him on the couch in his room.

“Nothing, just from mum. Telling us she will be home in about three weeks.” He says then smiles down at me.

“Cool. Did she say-“ I stop dead in my tacks. “One moment.” I say then run into his en-suite with my hand over my mouth.

When I am in front on the toilet I kneel down and release some of the contents in my stomach.

I feel someone kneel down behind me and pull my black hair up into ponytail and hold it there.

“Go away Julian.” I mumble then start vomiting again until I start dry reaching.

When I’m finished I fall back into Julian how wraps his hands around me.

“Are you alright?” He asks as he checks my temperature. “Well that’s normal.” He mumbles.

“I think I’m okay now.” I say and stand up slowly.

“Are you sure?” he asks looking slightly worried.

“Yeah, I actually feel fine now.” I say shocked.

“That’s… weird?” Julian replies.

“Yeah.” I say and walk over to his sink to rinse my mouth out. “God that tasted disgusting.”
