Chapter Twentyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Scarletts POV
The last two weeks of my pregnancy have flow by so fast it is unbelievable. All that I noticed was that I kept getting bigger and bigger and that my eating habits kept changing. Like some days all I would want was chocolate and others I would want fruit. Julian has been amazing throughout the whole thing. Fussing over me and getting me whatever I have needed and wanted.
Emilia and violet have been great too. They went shopping the other day and came back with a beautiful cot to add to our nursery. It is white, coming from the base of the cot and overflowing from the side is white material, at the front of the cot there is something that goes up and material flows over that (sort of like a tent) to the floor.
We have made my old room the baby’s room. We have painted it pale purple as it is a neutral colour, we didn’t find out what I was having. It has little alphabet, number and animal stickers stuck on the walls and everything is now child proof with my bed gone. The cot that Emilia and Violet got we have put in Julian’s room for now so that we are close to the baby. I now share a room with Julian. We decided it would be best since we were going to have a baby soon and that we are getting married. It was also good because my room is just across the hall from his.
“Scarlett why are you still awake?” Julian mumbles to me as he rolls over and rubs his eyes. He is far too handsome for his own good. I hope the baby looks like him.
“I can’t sleep with this bulge.” I say pointing down at my extremely large stomach. “And…” I trail off as I feel another jab of pain. I feel my face contort, showing it. I have been getting them on and off, that is another reason why I am still not asleep. I am not telling him that though.
“What?” he asks sitting up, slightly panicked.
“It’s nothing.” I say and try to smile but another sharp pain causes it to come out as more of a grimace.
“What’s wrong Scarlett?” Julian asks and places his hand on my stomach.
“I…” I trail off as I feel a warmness spread in between my legs. “Julian, I think…” I trail of again as a stronger cramp takes hold of my stomach.
“What do you think?” He asks, panicking.
“The baby is coming. My water just broke.” I say and another cramp takes hold of me.
“Okay. Okay. Okay.” He says and gets out of the bed. He grabs the bag we have ready with everything that we will need.
He opens up his bedroom door – sharp pain – and yells out into the hallway, “The baby is coming!” So loud that I swear the whole house would be able to hear.
“Julian.” I growl and wince as I get yet another cramp.
“Coming, coming.” He mutters and comes over to me. As he helps me out of the bed, Violet and Emilia walk into the room.
“Oh my god. They aren’t joking.” Emilia says as she looks down at the wetness on my pyjama bottoms. “I’ll go get the car ready.” She says and then takes off out of the room.
“Are you alright?” Violet asks me, looking worried.
“Do I look alright?” I growl out as I get another cramp.
“No.” she says. “I’ll go make sure everyone else is up.” And with that she buzzes out of the room.
“I want *breath* to wear *breath* my nighty.” Another pain.
