Blood sprayed across the dirt as Mona’s great axe carved through the first wolf that reached the front line. The beast barely had time to howl before its body split apart, crashing lifelessly at her feet.

“Too slow,” Mona growled, tusked grin sharp. “Is this all they’ve got?”

More wolves poured in.

Mia’s webs snapped into existence—thick, glistening strands stretching between trees and spears. Wolves slammed into them at full speed, only to be yanked mid-air, snarling helplessly as poisoned fangs pierced their hides.

Amber moved like a silver streak across the front. Her blade flashed once—twice—and two wolves dropped before they even realized she’d passed them.

And me?

The shadows finally answered.

I stepped forward and let Shadow Dominion expand—not wildly, not recklessly, but deliberately. Darkness spread across the ground like spilled ink, swallowing the battlefield’s edges. The wolves hesitated.
