As the battlefield quieted, a strange sense of peace settled over the ruins of the Bloodpack's camp. The victory had been decisive, but as I stood beside Red—no, Amber, now that the bloodlust was fading—I knew this was far from over. The war had just begun, and the enemy would soon regroup.
I took a deep breath, feeling my power surging through me, the red markings on my skin fading slightly as the adrenaline of the fight ebbed. My system pinged, the familiar screen popping up in front of my eyes as I surveyed the data.

The system was an ever-present reminder of my unique abilities, and my growing power was both a blessing and a burden. Despite the victory, I had no time to rest. Amber’s declaration of war meant there would be no peace until the Bloodpack was entirely wiped out. That, and the fact that I had now officially become her mate, the Luna of the Moonlight pack, which carried its own set of responsibilities.
I felt Amber’s hand on my arm, and I turned to meet her eyes. The fierce Alpha was still there, but her gaze was softer now, tinged with concern.
“You fought well,” she said, her voice low, meant only for me. “But this is just the beginning, Ryu. The Bloodpack will retaliate. They always do.”
I nodded, wiping the blood off my blades and sheathing them. “I know. I’m ready for whatever comes next.”
She studied me for a moment, her eyes flicking over the red markings that pulsed faintly on my skin. “You’re more than ready,” she murmured, a slight smile tugging at her lips. “You’re my mate. We’ll be unstoppable together.”
My mind flickered to the others—Mona, the High Goblin, and Mia, the Spider Queen. Both of them were powerful in their own right, and I was bound to them as well. Each of them held influence over their own territories and species, and if this war escalated, I might need to call on their help.
Amber seemed to sense where my thoughts were going, and her expression turned serious. “You’re thinking of your other wives, aren’t you?”
I nodded slowly. “Mona and Mia could be valuable allies in this fight. If the Bloodpack rallies their forces, we’ll need every advantage we can get.”
Amber crossed her arms, her brow furrowing in thought. “Mona’s goblins are fierce, and Mia’s spiders could easily overwhelm any enemy with their numbers. But uniting them under one cause won’t be easy. Goblins and wolves don’t get along... and the spiders…” She trailed off, clearly uneasy about the prospect of involving the other factions.
“I know,” I admitted, “but I also know that they’ll follow me. If I ask for their help, they’ll come. And we’ll need them, Amber. This war is bigger than just the Moonlight pack.”
She sighed, a low growl rumbling in her throat. “You’re right. But you’ll need to speak with them soon. The Bloodpack won’t wait long before they regroup. We need to be ready.”
Just as she finished speaking, the Beta approached once again, his face grim. “Alpha, scouts have reported movement from the northern territories. It seems the Bloodpack is already preparing for a counterattack. They’ve sent messengers to neighboring packs for reinforcements.”
Amber’s eyes narrowed dangerously. “So, they’re rallying their allies now. Cowards.”
I glanced at the map on the ground, my mind already working through possible strategies. “If they bring in other packs, this will turn into a full-scale war. We need to hit them before they have a chance to organize.”
Amber nodded. “Agreed. We’ll need to gather the full strength of our pack. And… you’ll need to bring your other wives into this. The Moonlight pack can’t do this alone.”
I clenched my fists, feeling the weight of the decision pressing down on me. I had hoped to keep Mona and Mia out of this conflict, but it was clear now that they were essential to our survival. This wasn’t just a war between wolves—it was turning into something much larger, and I was at the center of it all.
“I’ll leave immediately,” I said. “I can reach Mona and Mia before the Bloodpack makes their next move.”
Amber stepped closer, her eyes locking onto mine. “Be careful, Ryu. You’re not just any warrior now. You’re my mate. Our pack needs you, and I… I need you.”
Her vulnerability took me by surprise, but I reached out, cupping her face in my hands. “I’ll come back, Amber. I promise.”
She nodded, though her eyes betrayed her worry. With a final glance at the warriors preparing around us, I turned and began making my way toward the edge of the camp. The journey ahead would be dangerous, but I had no choice. I had to bring Mona and Mia into this fight, or the Bloodpack would overwhelm us all.

As I moved through the forest, I activated my **God’s Eye** skill, scanning the shadows for any signs of danger. The landscape shifted before me, the hidden pathways of the forest revealed in glowing lines of energy. My senses were heightened, and every sound, every movement was amplified.
The journey to Mona’s goblin stronghold wasn’t far, but it felt longer with the weight of war hanging over me. When I finally reached the edge of her territory, the familiar scent of goblins and the thick, earthy air told me I was close.
Within moments, a group of goblin scouts appeared, their small, wiry frames darting between the trees. One of them stepped forward, his sharp eyes narrowing as he recognized me.
“Ryu,” he said, bowing slightly. “Lady Mona has been expecting you.”
I nodded. “Take me to her.”
The scout led me deeper into the goblin territory, and soon, the towering stone walls of Mona’s fortress came into view. Inside, I could feel the tension in the air. Mona, no doubt, had already heard whispers of the coming war.
As I entered the main hall, Mona appeared, her lithe form descending from her throne. Her piercing yellow eyes locked onto mine, and a sly smile curled her lips.
“Ryu,” she purred. “I take it you’ve come to ask for my help in your little war?”
