Lilith's POV - - -

I walked around the carnival, when I came across a circus tent. Let me guess, one of the doctor horrors in here? Nope! I turn around, and walk away, not letting my curiosity get to me... but, what if the key is in there? I cringe on the inside before looking at the big tent. Screw it. I walk towards it and lift a flap, peaking inside. There was a spotlight showing onto the ring in the middle, with none other than the clown himself in the middle.

I walked in and sat in one of the many seats, off to the side. Maybe, just maybe, one of the others are here? I know I shouldn't get my hopes up.

I looked at the clown. He had a cone shaped nose like an older version would. He literally had no color on his body, not even on his skin or in his eyes. He was all black and white. He had suspenders and ruffles like feathers on his shoulder, with shoulder length black hair, almost as messy as his shoulders. He had striped sleeves, with black gloves on his hands. He cackled loudly, showing off his razor sharp teeth.

"And for my next trick, I will make a balloon animal!" He shouted, to who? I looked at the rows of chairs around me, seeing silhouettes of men, women, and children in their chairs. I looked back at Laughing Jack to see him with an organ from some poor soul. I find it gross but cool at the same time as he blew into it and twisted it, making it into a sword shape and fighting a ghost fencer. It disappeared, and LJ bowed to the ghostly audience, who clapped silently.

I clapped, and he looked up at me. As one of the only students in anatomy class, I find this very interesting.

"How do you blow it up like that? I seriously thought that was physically impossible," I say, standing up and clapping a few more times. The ghosts left since they knew the show was over.

"You just have to be creative, hm hm hm.." He replied, adding a strange chuckle onto the end. He smirked at me, and I knew I'd better go.

"I think I'll just go, since the show is over," I say, headed towards the exit. I see a poof of smoke in front of me and quickly turn the other way, crouching to dodge his stretchy hands as they reach for me.

"Really? I think the show is just starting, my dear," He says, as I jump the fence separating the audience from the circus performers and try to find another exit. I try to keep my racing heartbeat hidden to myself, to calm myself down.

"No really, I have places to go, people to see. Speaking of seeing, do you know where my bag is?" I ask, running towards another exit I've spotted. I jump back to dodge another arm as his smoke appears in front of me. The smoke disappears, and he's not there. What?

"Oh, you mean this?" He asks, and I whirl around to see him holding my shoulder bag, dangling it in front of him. Its like he was taunting a dog with a bone. I wanted to growl, but stopped myself. No emotions, you know what happens. They tease.

"Yes that, you monochrome maniac, now give," I say, motioning him to hand it over.

"Make me, Picasso," He says with a grin. I glare. He looked through my sketchbook. I sigh, thinking of any weaknesses the creator may have mentioned. I need a Jack in the Box..

"How's Isaac, by the way?" I ask. Maybe enraging him with taunts could make him mess up. I need my bag, my life is in that sketchbook.

"Grossman is just fine," He smiled. So, that's not going to do it. Plan B, I'll have to get it later. Top priority is getting my friends and I out of here.

"Alright, have a nice day, then, oh Fallen angel," I say, running out the now clear exit, and leaving behind a shocked looking clown. Maybe he thought I would come right to him for my sketchbook? I couldn't help but laugh to myself. I love being unpredictable.

- - -Ashley's POV- - -

I sat in one of the game booths, trying to keep my breathing quiet. I lost him, but what if he finds me? I have to get somewhere safe. I have to find Lilith or Michael. I was hiding in one of the prize storage rooms, the dim light bulb lighting up the small room. I swore in my head as I heard footsteps out side. I held my breath until I heard them pass quickly. He thought I was still running. I shakily got up and opened the door, looking out. Oh thank the Lord, they're gone.

After making sure my breathing pattern was steady, I ran out of the place, heading straight for the Ferris Wheel. The fact that I could have died started to catch up with me as I ran. The song 'Get Out Alive' started playing in my head and I ran faster. Lilith would always play this song if we worked out together. It made me push myself, she said, and I believed her.

     I have to find them.

- - -Michael's POV- - -

"Donkey Kong, really?" BEN asked, and I nodded. He shrugged, and the machine magically started up. He motioned towards it, and I started playing. I knew the patterns, fortunately.

"Now, listen up," BEN said. Way to try and ruin my focus. "We'll have a two out of three rule. If you win, you live and get to leave the arcade, if I win, I get to kill you." I gulped as I put my attention back on the game. Now is not the time for sweaty palms.

I finished, with the high score on the machine I named it 'Mike' ,which was my nickname, before making room for BEN to play.

After around the same amount of time, he finally finished. I looked at the score, and paled. I..I won! I gulped as he sent me a nasty glare.

"I get to pick the next game, then we both agree on the third," He said, moving down the rows. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. He paused in front of a game, and smirked to himself.

"We're going to play Street Fighter two now," He said pointing at the game. He seemed so confident, it made me scared to play, but I took the second player controls, we picked our characters, and we played.

I didn't realize I was sweating until he won. BEN won the second round.

"Now, the third game, winner takes all," BEN said with a grim smile. He was right, but I couldn't help but be scared. I've never played video games to save my life before.

We walked down the rows, and I paused in front of the Pac-man machine. BEN glanced back at me, then turned.

"You want to play Pac-man as our final round? Is that really the last thing you want to do in your life time?" He asked. I smiled.

"Play a vintage Pac-man arcade in this good of condition? Hell yeah I want to play it," I reply.

"Alright, fine," He muttered, and I let him play first. He got the high score on the machine. I gulped as I took the controls. The familiar sight came back to me as I skillfully avoided the ghosts until I could eat them. After a long while, I finally lost my last life in the game.

I held my breath as the score screen popped up, and I looked at my score.

"NO!" He exclaimed, and I was frozen to the spot. I.. I won. I'm alive. I breathed out, and stood up. Would he keep his part of the deal? "I was so sure I would win." I was lucky, then.

"Hey, you did great, I was pretty damn nervous," I admitted, and he grumbled, leading me down a different path. Finally, the exit.

"Now I have to go try and beat your score," BEN said, leaving me alone at the entrance of the arcade. I shook my head as I spotted the Ferris Wheel. Knowing Lilith and Ashley, they'd probably want to meet up there. I made my way towards it, but not before doing a fist pump.

     I just beat a murderer at Pac-man.
