Battle of the Gente Animali

The quest

" Ferre and I have idea on how to stop Vastator. There might be some information on Vastator in the grand library, in the mammal city of Mammifero." said Anne

"And what does that got to do with me? " asked Canis

" To enter Mammifero you have to have at least two mammal Gente Animali in your party, to show you are trust worthy. Which is why we need you." said Ferre.

" Wait two I'm the only Gente Animali in this village." said Canis. Ferre and Anne looked at each other and the back at Canis. " What is it you two haven't told me." asked Canis in a demanding kind of voice.

" Well it's about time you know. " said Ferre As he started changing. Brown fur started to engulf his body, his hands and feet started turning into paws, his nose and mouth turned into a snout. With in seconds standing were had been Ferre, was a fully grown male grizzly bear.

" Your a Gente Animali too " yelled Canis

" Keep your voice down, " said Anne in a scared tone of voice " the black soldiers will hear you."

" How could you keep this from me, I thought I was the only one left in the village. I was depressed for ages, thinking I was the only Gente Animali left." Ferre had turned back into a human.

Ferre started " Look we wanted to tell you but."

" But what? " said Canis in a annoyed tone.

" We didn't know if it was a good idea to tell you until you were ready. " said Anne. Canis thought about it for second then said

" Mum how are you going to defend yourself or is that another on of those things you haven't told me. "

" That is another one of those things I haven't told you. " Said Anne. She walked over to a cupboard and pulled out a bow and arrow.

" Wow, how good are you? " asked Canis. To answer his question Anne knocked an arrow and fired out the window and hit a nail in a fence post right on target.

" I'm also skilled with a dagger to " added Anne

" Well what are we waiting for, we have better get to Mammifero." said Canis

" Canis " Anne called one day from the attic. When Canis reached the attic, he saw his mum kneeling next to an open chest with a sword lay in her hand. " This was your father's, it becomes part of you when you change it to an animal."

" Cool" replied Canis. He held, getting a feel for the blade in his hand.

The next few days they started packing ,buying supplies and looking at maps.

Then finally they started

" We will set off though the forest north of the village " said Ferre

" What about the house?" asked Canis

" I asked your aunt to look after it, I said we were going and didn't specify when we would get back" replied Anne. When they got to the edge of the forest a thought passed though Canis's mind an adventure had just begun.
