Battle of the Gente Animali

Canis could see why it was called the grand library. The building was the size of a cathedral. The building was being supported by marble pillars and it had massive oak doors, that lead into the library. 

"You guys go explore the city and come back here within an hour. Ferre and I will see what we can find," suggested Anne

"But mum won't it be faster with me and-," started Canis but Anne cut him off.

"You and Passerie will go explore the city while Ferre and I search the library," said Anne even more forcefully. Ferre looked like he was about to say something but quickly closed his mouth. Canis new way better than to argue with his mother and Passerie didn't seem that bothered. 

"We'll see you back here in an hour then," Canis asked just to be sure and he and Passerie walked down the street. They walked through streets and alleys for what seemed like ages when they turned a corner to see a group of four teenagers that looked not much older than Canis.

"Looky here guys we got a light weight and his girlfriend on our turf," said the boy which was obviously the leader. All the kids had matted brown hair and brown eyes which had blood thirsty look in them. Their clothes were torn and dirty and they looked like they hadn't bathed in weeks. When the leader got close enough to Canis he smelt like he hadn't bathed in weeks to. The leader of the group introduced them all.

"I'm Lupus, that's Lobo," Lupus pointed to a muscly boy leaning against a wall, " and that's the twins Lupo and Lupa," Lupus then pointed to a boy and a girl standing next to a garbage bin.

"Well I see that he've annoyed you so we'll just be going then," Canis suggested but Lupus had other ideas. 

"Oh no, no, no, you step on to are turf you pay the price," Lupus said gleefully and smiled maniacally, the others all muttered their agreement.

"Well you must be luppy if you think were staying around," Passerie retaliated "or should I say barking mad." 

"Oooh, a feisty one,"  Lupus chuckled. "Grab the boy." Lupus snapped his fingers and within seconds Lobo and Lupo were pinning Canis against a wall while Lupus was punching him in the gut. The pain unbearable for Canis. He felt his eyes water. Suddenly he heard a grunt of pain and the punches stopped. When he opened his eyes Lupus was on the ground cradling his nose, Passerie standing over him fist poised. They all stood there dazed at what passerie had done. Then suddenly Lobo charged at Passerie but she was too fast. She rolled out the way and used his own momentum to slam him into the opposing wall. Lupo and Lupa ran Passerie but with one sweep of her leg she knocked Lupo on to Lupa and they both fell to the ground, where they lay dazed on the cobblestone pathement.

"Well," Passerie said dusting her hands, "that was interesting." Canis was until trying to process what he just saw. Had Passerie really just taken out four gang members single handly, without a weapon.

"What was that?" Canis said finally when he came round.  

"What?," Passerie asked as if the question wasn't clear to her.

"That," Canis said more loudly, "you took those guys out with barely a scratch,"

"Oh that's just some stuff I picked up in books I stole from travellers back in the forest," Passerie answered as if it was no big deal.

"Did you rob ninja's or something girl, because that was amazing," Canis said in astonishment. Passerie rolled her eyes and said.

"Come on your mum will be worrying about us," Paserie said a little bit annoyed with Canis. 

"I will kill both of you," they heard a voice say from behind, it was Lupus. His voice was kind of funny now that Passerie had plastered his nose to his face. Before Canis could even come up with an answer. Paserie was on him her knife drawn and placed on his throat.

"Then what's stopping me from killing you right here right know," she starred at him with her cold brown and eyes he starred at her with his. Lupus chuckled,

"This," he quickly transfromed in to a wolf and growled at her. Passerie was cought balance and he pinned her to the ground.

"Get away from her you beast," Canis screamed and he swung his sword at the newly transformed wolf. The beast turned and sprinted away in fear.

"Coward!" Passerie yelled after him.

"He almost mauled your face off, consider yourself lucky your alive," Canis said frustrated with Passerie.

"I didn't need your help," Passerie said while swowling at Canis, "C'mon, your mum will be freaking out,"

An/ Hope this makes up for the slow realease of the last chapter. By the way that group was a gang of wolf Gente Animali if I wasn't too clear.
