Teenage Rodeo Life

Chapter 1

I am Addison most people call me Addie. I live in Fort Worth Texas, I love it here. My mom and dad are wealthy people but I don't care. I live on a ranch with my family. I have 4 sisters and 1 brother. Brandon is the oldest of our family, Destiny is the second oldest, Bailey is the third oldest. Haylie is the fourth oldest, and then there is me and my twin sister Ava. My mom is Hannah and my dad is Casey. So today is the last day of school!! I was sitting in Mr.Heart's class day dreaming when I heard some one calling my name. " Addie you there?" says Kaden. "Yeah sorry I was just thinking." I replied "Oh, well I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?" " Um, yeah sure why not?" I said as I was chuckling. Kaden and I have been dating for a while now and he is the best boyfriend ever!
~ Few Hours Later~
It was finally the last period of the day which means freedom. I can't wait till then being here all day long is horrible. I was sitting in the last class my heart racing only 2 more seconds then I'm out of here. My thoughts were interrupted when the bell rang. I shot up from my desk and ran out of the school. I was putting my stuff in my car when I felt someone's arms around my waist.
Kaden- Hey babe
Addie- Hey
Kaden- Are you still going with me later?
Addie- Yeah are we hanging out with the boys too?
Kaden- I'm not sure. I want to, but yet I want to hang out with you.
Addie- You can hang out with them, I can work with my barrel horses.
Kaden- Are you sure?
Addie- Yeah I'm sure. I'm not going to stop you from hanging out with your friends.
Kaden- Ok thank you babe. Oh guess what!
Addie- Hmm?
Kaden- I love you
Addie- I love you too
~Later On That Day~
(M- Mom, A- Addie)
A- Hey mom
M- Hey sweetie. How was your last day?
A- It was good! Glad school is out so I can rodeo now!
M- Yeah that is a good thing. You might want to go start working now.
A- Ok. Love you mom!
M- Love you too
I walked out of the house to see a Grey Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. I didn't know who it was until they stepped out of the pickup. "Dad your home" I said happily  " Hey bud! How are you?" "I'm good! How was the rodeo?" "It was good. Is your mom inside?" "Umm yeah she is" "Ok thanks bud" "Your welcome" I mumbled under my breath and walked away. I got into the barn and grabbed my cross halter and went to grab my horse star. Star is my youngest barrel horse, she is only 6 years old. I start my barrel horses on my own. I got Star saddled up and went to the arena and started working barrels. When I was on my second time my sister pulled up with her boyfriend Tanner. I seriously hate his guts, but I can't tell my sister that or hell will break loose. I got done with working on the barrels. I walked back into the house seeing Tanner and Ava on the couch laughing their asses off. I just rolled my eyes and went to my room to call Kaden. I tried calling him, but no answer so I got some clothes and hopped in the shower. I got out of the shower and went downstairs to get some supper. I got some food and went outside and sat at the table on the patio. I was sitting there my head resting on my hand and I was picking at my food. My dad comes out and sits with me. (D- Dad, A- Addie)
D- Hey bud, is everything ok?
A- Yeah, I'm fine.
D- Are you sure? You don't seem like everything is ok.
A- You really want to know what's wrong? Well everyone seems so fake right now. When you got home we barely even talked like we usually do. Then you ask to see my mom more than me it makes me think you don't want to talk to me anymore. Then seeing Tanner and Ava kills me. I don't how long Kaden and I are going to last.
D- Well honey your mom and I went through a rough patch, but we are ok now that's why I wanted to talk to her. You and Kaden will last a little longer than what you think, I kind of just talked to him. You know I love you bud!
A- Yeah I know dad I love you too!
