Chapter 7

It has been a couple days since my sister and I's fight. I walked up to my room not realizing that Kaden was here. I looked into her room and rolled my eyes then walked to my room shutting the door behind me. I plopped down on my bed. I was thinking about everything that had happened between Kaden and I then with my sister. I was tired of everyone knocking me down. Everyone promised me so much and I usually get hurt. Why me? Why am I so delicate? My thoughts were interrupted by my sister Destiney texting me.

Destiney- Hey don't forget about my rehearsal dinner tonight.

Addie- I wont! I will try and be there a little bit early.

Destiny- Ok and you're going to be the new Maid Of Honor, Kelsey got sick so she can't make it.

Addie- I hope she gets better!

After I got done talking to her. I laid back down on my bed and all the memories of Kaden and I came flooding back. Tears started falling down my face. I reached for my phone and texted Sara to see if we could hang out. She replied to me and said sure, I got up and told my mom where I was going and grabbed my keys then left. I got to Sara's house and walked up to her room. She was in her room texting her boyfriend Dalton. I walked in there with tears streaming down my face. 

Sara- Oh my goodness Addie are you ok?

Addie- Yeah I'm fine

Sara- What in the world happened?

Addie- My sister with my ex boyfriend happened. Did you know Kaden didn't love me he actually loved my sister more. Then all of our memories came back.

Sara- Seriously! Hey sorry Dalton wants me to come over. I will call you later.

I got up and told her to have fun and walked back to my car. I plugged my phone in and then the song Heartache That Don't Stop Hurting By: Jason Aldean came on. I sat there in the driver's seat crying my eyes out. I looked into the rear view mirror and saw my makeup running down my face. I put my car into drive and went to the lake out by my house. I sat there thinking to myself about everything. I didn't want to talk to anyone. I am tired of everyone ditching me, like why I am hurting. Maybe I'm getting annoying talking about Kaden all the damn time. Maybe I should move on, but with who? I'm sure Corey is with someone else and everyone else has someone, but me. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm tired of hurting, maybe I should go to the bonfire this weekend. Well I guess I found out what I am going to do now. I pulled into my driveway and parked my car in the garage. I got out and went into the house. Great my parents are fighting now. Lately it seems like they can't be in the same room without trying to kill each other. I turned away and walked back into the garage and backed my car out. I just felt like going for another drive. Nothing wrong with that right? I was driving around not realizing that I drove by Corey's house seeing that he was fixing his pickup. I parked on the opposite street and walked up to him.

Corey- Well howdy stranger

Addie- Hey I said with a sad look on my face.

Corey- What's wrong?

Addie- Nothing

Corey- Well that's a bunch of bull shit. You know I can tell when you lie. Come on get in.

Addie- What? I was just driving around then I saw you so I came over to talk. 

Corey- Well I'm changing your plans now so get it in. 

Addie- Ok, where are we going?

Corey- See now that's a secret. You will see when we get there. 

After a little while of driving we finally reached a lake. It was really pretty I tried getting out, but then Corey beat me and opened my door for me. I was taking in the view when I was interrupted.

Corey- Hey are you ok?

Addie- Yeah, just taking in this beautiful view.

Corey- Oh ok, so tell me what you were upset about.

Addie- Well my ex boyfriend is what happened. I told him all about Kaden and I. I could tell he was mad at Kaden for treating me that way. It was getting dark and we decided to start a fire. We kept talking. Corey scooted closer to me we both leaned in at the same time. Feeling his lips against mine the chills shot up me. We were interrupted by the rain starting to pour. We ran back to his pickup we were soaked. We got back to his house and he walked me to my car. He kissed me and it was the best moment. Standing in the rain kissing my new boyfriend. I got in my car and drove off. The rain was coming down hard I started slowing down. I was coming around the curve when a truck stuck my car. 

I heard people saying we need to get her in surgery right away. By then the rain was gone. I felt being lifted and then I remember the pain I felt getting stabbed in the hand with a needle. I don't know what it looked like everything was black, but I could hear. Maybe I am sleeping. Then all of the sudden I heard nothing it was silent.

~Coma Dream~

I finally woke up I looked next to me and Kaden was there holding my hand. I grasped his hand and sat up quickly. My head started hurting he jumped up and told me to sit back. What's going on? Where am I?

Kaden- Honey you were in an accident. I was so worried that you weren't going to make it.

Addie- Wait where is Corey?

Kaden- What? Who is Corey? He said with a confused look on his face. Honey we've been dating for a year and a half. 

Addie- Oh ok.

Kaden- I think you need to get some rest so we can get you home.

I got out of the hospital thinking I was going home to my parents, but no I was going home to Kaden's and I's house. We had a baby girl named Lexy. 

Addie- What's going on? Where's my parents? 

Kaden- The doctor warned me you wouldn't remember somethings for a while. 

Addie- This isn't my real life.
