I just got home from Riley's but I had to leave because her boyfriend, Farkle had a debate thing. As soon as I walked in I went to the kitchen. I then be my over to get a water bottle until I felt a hand on my butt.
"What the f-heck?" I ask about to cuss but I remember that my mom and step-dad is upstairs. I then see Lucas.
"Hey Maya your home early" he says. I just roll my eyes. We are always like this. We just have a tight relationship like that.
"Well Riley had to see Farkle's nerd competition so" I say trailing off. He then nods. He then sits down while I run upstairs to change.
As I open the door it was burning up. I then take off my shirt and pants. I'm now in my red bra and black underwear. I feel a pair of eyes on me but I shake it off and walk to my drawer. I find a cute crop top that has the "❤️" symbol and the background is black. I then find black shorts and pick that up. I then hear the door shut and I think it's just my imagination. I then feel two arms around my waist which makes me jump.
"Hey" I hear. I then sigh of relief. It's just Lucas okay good.
"Hey" I say. I then drop my crop top so I pick it up but I feel something hard on me. Okay what the heck is that? I then get up with the shirt and try to put it on but Lucas takes it from me.
"Hey" I say pouting.
"I like you better without your shirt" he says. My eyes then widen. Is he flirting with me? I then grab my shirt and pants and run to the bathroom.
After I get dressed I look in the mirror. What's going on. What was those butterflies I felt when Lucas was near me? My thoughts were interrupted by a knock.
"Maya baby girl. Derek and I are going to this place okay we'll be back." my mom says.
"Okay." I say. I then hear footsteps but it fades away. The door then shuts downstairs and I open the door to walk to my room.
"Maya" I hear.
"What?" I yell.
"Can you come here?" He asks. I then walk to his room to see him sitting on the bed.
"What do you need?" I ask.
"For you to be my girlfriend" he says.
"I'm sorry come again" I say.
"Look Maya I've been in love with you before my dad even met your mom. I love your blond hair, your beautiful ocean blue eyes, your funny and stubborn personality,everything about you." I then blush.
"So please be my girlfriend" he finishes.
"I can't your my step brother" I say.
"There's a STEP for a reason" he says.
"But that's just wrong" I say.
"Look Maya I really-" I then interrupt him.
"But, I don't want to be right." I say. He then smiles and he grabs me by my waist and pulls em close to him. I then smash my lips on him and he kisses back. We then hear the door open but we don't care.
"We're ho-umm" we hear. I then separate from him.
"Well this makes things less awkward. Your father and I are getting a divorce. We've found different people" she says looking at Lucas. I smile and Lucas stands up, picks me up bridal style and spins me around.
