Maya
I walked into my new school.
Not fun being the new girl, I thought. I notice a big glass room so I walk in assuming its the front office, which I'm right.
"Um, my name is Maya Hart." I mumble. The lady smiles at me and hands me a paper.
"Thanks." I say, she just nods. I look down at my schedule and keep walking. I then notice someone next to me and I look over, it's a brunette.
"Hi, I'm Riley! Are you new?" She asks,I can tell she's perky because she hasn't took that smile off her face the whole time.
"Uh, yeah." I say, she giggles.
"Can I see your schedule?" She asks,I nod and hand it to her. She gasps and dances around.
"Yay, we have 4 classes together." I smile at her happiness. A taller guy walks up to us and wraps his arms around Riley's waist.
"Hey babe, who's this?" He asks.
"This is Maya, she's new. Maya this is Farkle." I smile, what a unique name.
"Cool name." I say, he smiles.
"Well let's get to class." She says linking arms with me. She then interlocks fingers with Farkle and we walk. As we walk I began to look around, I noticed that we have the small lockers and that- I got interrupted by a boy bumping into me. His hands were on my arms and I looked up at him.
"I'm sorry." I say, he just smiles at me and nods. I then go to the left to see he went that way, I then slide to right to see he did the same. He then turns me around and winks. (Does this remind you of a show on MTV?) I look over at Riley who is smiling at me.
"What?" I ask, she just smiles and keeps walking with Farkle.
[Skip to the good part....3rd period, the class they don't have together]
I walk into third period, chemistry. The fan is blowing so I know it must be hot in here. I walk into it where the fan blows my hair and I spot the boy from earlier. He has his shirt over his nose, wonder what that's about. I give the teacher my paper and he points the seat next to that guy. I smile at him and he's covering his nose. I then smell my hair, nope smells the same.
"Okay guys look through the (thing that you look through that I forgot the name of) and write down what you see." He then looks through it and slides it to me, I look through it and write it down. I notice that he's staring at me so I glance at him. He the looks away. I sigh.
"I'm Maya." I say, he looks at me, did his eyes change color?
"I'm Lucas." He says and smiles. The rest of this class we were having quick conversations.
[End of the day]
I was at my car listening to music when I look over to see Lucas across the parking lot at his car. I then hear screaming so I turn around to see a car rushing towards me. I close my eyes to be tucked down, is this where I die? I open my eyes to see Lucas looking at me. The car had a big dent in it.
"Oh my gosh Maya I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going..." Josh rambled. I was just looking at Lucas, how did he get here so far?
[1 week later]
It's been a week since I'm here and I notice that Lucas wasn't here on hot days, he also has been acting strange. I was currently walking through the ally where I hear a scream, I follow the noise to see a dirty blonde headed boy kissing a girls neck. Wait, he's not kissi-thats Lucas! I gasp and run away. I hear footsteps but I try and run faster, he's already in front of me. What the?
"Maya let me-" I cut him off by trying to smack him but he grabs my hand.
"Your a.." I say trailing off, I don't want to say it.
"Say it." He whispers.
"Vampire." I mumble,I've read things about them, they live forever. He nods, I look at his eyes...red. He then comes close to me and I freeze, he wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me, my eyes widened. What the? I decide to kiss him back just because...not bad.
[1 month later]
There's 3 things I know.
1.Lucas is a vampire.
2. He would never harm me.
3.I was in love with a monster
[5 years later]
"I do" I say.
"You may now kiss the bride." The minister says, I smile and kiss him. I guess you could say,I'm in love with a monster.
I had no idea where this was going...I just loved the title. Next one coming soon!!
