It was family game night at the Matthews, Lucas and Maya were dating so of course they were going together.
"Hey goofballs." Maya says walking in holding Lucas's hand.
"You guys ready for the friends game?" Riley asks excitedly. Maya nods.
"You." Cory says to Lucas.
"Me." Lucas says back.
"Why you, why here, why now?" He sighs.
"He's my boyfriend, we go through this every time." Maya rolls her eyes.
"Anyway, peaches we need to talk." Riley says pulling her off to the side.
"What is it Riles?" Maya asks worried.
"Josh is coming." She says, Maya shrugs.
"Eh, I'm over him." Maya says, truth be told, she didn't know if she was but she was in a happy relationship.
"Farkle." The buzzer said. Riley smiled and ran to the buzzer.
"Yay." She says buzzing him in. The blonde rolled her blue eyes.
"Lady." Farkle says.
"Farkle." Maya nods.
"Babe." Farkle kisses.
"No, no that." Cory says pulling the two back. The buzzer buzzes again.
"It's Josh." The buzzer sounds. Maya looked at Riley and she looks at the blonde.
'You sure.' She mouths, all Maya could do was nod. She buzzes him in and soon the door opens revealing the boy.
"Uncle Josh." Riley says excited, she goes in for a hug and he exclaims. After she releases Maya didn't know what to do so she just went up and hugged him, he wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Hey Maya." He says, she smiled and took in his scent.
"Hey Josh." She said and released. He stared at her.
I'm starting to think you want him too.
She glanced at him to notice him staring, she then looked back. Lucas noticed and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Hey babe, who's this." He asked. She looked at Josh for a second longer and glanced at Lucas.
"This is Josh." She says pointing to Josh.
"Hi I'm Josh, Maya's ex." Josh explains. Lucas looked at his girlfriend then the taller boy with a beanie.
"Lucas, Maya's boyfriend." Lucas says proudly, he noticed Maya staring at Josh again.
"So, how long you staying?" She asked him.
"The next four years." He smiles, Maya gets out of the blonde's grip and hugs Josh.

The hug went on for a while and Lucas stood there, he decided to clear his throat from the encounter and they separated.
"How about I show you around sometime?" Maya suggests, Josh nods hiding a smirk.
"I'd like that." He says.
"Great." She smirks, he winks at her and she looks at the ground.
I turn my chin music up
And I'm puffing my chest

Lucas clenches his jaw and tightens his fist. Maya turns around and glances at him.
