As I scroll through my Facebook I notice that I still haven't updated my status that I'm not in a relationship. I quickly click to edit and sigh as I select the "Single" opinion.
"What's wrong?" Karlee asks, sitting up on the couch.
"Hm. What. nothing?" I reply, turning my chair.
"When is Al getting back?" I ask, closing my laptop.
"I don't know..." She replies standing and looking out the window.
"It's so nice out, we should go to a beach. It doesn't get any sunnier or warmer than this." Karlee says, knowing because she's been here before.
Suddenly the door to our suit swings open and a middle aged woman walks in.
"Oh, you must be Miss. Vinner's friends!" She said excitedly.
"Yeah, and who are you?" I ask standing.
"Oh I'm her editor for her new novel! My name's Mrs. Hodkins." She squeals.
"Hey guys." Aloisia says walking in.
"Alright ladies pack your this, no friends of my client is going to stay here. You're coming to the all inclusive hotel downtown." She says.
"Sick." Karlee says then runs to her room and stuffs her clothes into her suitcase.
"Okay, cool..." I say walking to my suitcase.
Aloisia steps out of her huge heels and grabs her suitcase.

The taxi comes to a stop and Mrs. Hodkins walks out of the taxi.
"There's the publishing building and the next door magazine place." She tells us, as we roll our suitcases and follow her.
Aloisia looks in the window and looks as though she's looking for something or someone.
"Something wrong?" I ask her.
She snaps her head back to me as Mrs. Hodkins turns to look at her.
"Tsk, tsk." Mrs. Hodkins makes the sound as she looks at Aloisia.
Aloisia rolls her eyes and looks forward.
"Ah, here we are." Mrs. Hodkins says as a man in a uniform opens a door for us.
"Thank you." Aloisia says to him as we walk in.
The lobby is incredible. It has crystal chandeliers hanging from the roof, bright red carpet under our feet. There's a twirling to staircase to each side and a gra d staircase in the centre. A huge fountain sounds beautiful. We follow Mrs. Hodkins to three golden elevators and watch her press the "twelve" button.
As we step out of the elevator I hear Karlee gasp. We follow the red carpet to a corner then as we round it, three room doors are in a line, almost hidden from the rest.
"Here are the three room keys." She says to us and hands us each a key. She points Karlee to the left door and me to the right. As I walk in my breath is taken. There's two massive windows and and balcony across the living room in front of me. I rub around and throw my suitcase into the bedroom. The bed was canopied.
"I think im gonna like it here..." I say to myself, flopping onto my bed.

As I walk into the huge suit, hugr cream coloured drapes start to pull back. Revealing a massive window overlooking the beautiful city and hills.
"I do'ope you like it." Mrs. Hodkins says, smiling.
"Oh yes! It's beautiful!" I reply, looking out the window.
"We have an appointment with a magazine writer and editor." She says to me.
"Great, just at the publishing house?" I ask.
"Oh no, for lunch with the magazine publisher." She laughs. Suddenly the phone started to ring.
"That's him inviting you to lunch." She says.
I roll my eyes and pick up the phone.
"This is Aloisia Vinner." I say into the phone.
"This is Colin McBlock." He says into the phone.
"Hmm...Colin McBlock, Colin McBlock...." I say trying to annoy him.
"Dublin Magazine." He replies, sounding annoyed.
"Oh yes. Can you put me through to whose doing my cover story?" I ask.
He laughs, a very accent filled laugh.
"You're talking to him." He says, his accent rich.
"Oh."
"Anyways I'd like to invite you for lunch." He says.
"Oh, well I'll have to check my schedule..." I reply.
"We've already ordered, can you be down in ten minutes?"
"Oh, I don't know..." I say.
"Perhaps another time then?" He says.
"Right, I'll see you in fifteen minutes." I say, then hang up the phone.
"It's Colin McBlock." I say.
"Well he is the best. Just don't look at him or let him talk to you and you'll be fine." She says.
"Ha, okay." I reply then walk into the bedroom to change.

"Oh stop, I just need my brushes!" I say.
"You have your brushes packed..." He replies, pointing at the hair brush sitting on my bag.

I scroll through my computer and try to find the surfing compatintion in Hawaii but nothing comes up. I just have to admit that I'll never see or hear from him again. Which really i don't know why it's getting to me. I barley know him! But his hair, his slight accent. I have to forget about him....I'll get home and fall in love there, then we'll be in the same country at least.
I close my computer and stand to the huge windows. I sigh and tip a glass of champagne.
