Chapter 30:- Can I Count This As A Perfect Date?

Ok, so he wanted Hot and sexy, right? I'm gonna give him cute and innocent. I loved giving people the opposite of what they wanted. It just makes my day, just defying people's wishes with the devil's look in my eyes.

So I ended up choosing a grey sweatshirt which read 'Girl On Fire' and a pair of denim shorts, complimented with red flat pumps. To make the look even sweeter, I decided to pull on the two ponytail look but letting my side fringes be. I wore the complete look I had decided and looked into the mirror. Perfect! Just as I wanted it to be. Just a dash of lip gloss and I was done.

I slowly walked down, taking all my time. I didn't want to go anyway. He was the one forcing me. So I might as well take all my time in this world.
By the time I reached the hall, I see no one there. They must be in their rooms. Thank God, at least no one's gonna see me in this attire.

"Hey, you look cute!" Ash complimented me as he appeared from no where. Damn, his vampire talents! I knew he heard my thoughts. But I still smiled. "Thanks.... Ummm... Can tell me where Zac is?" I ask politely. "Oh yeah, he is waiting outside for you." He says as he offers his arm which I, with my lady-like grace, accepts it. He slowly walks me to the door.

"Wishing he could back out from this date right now?" He asked innocently and with the same thought in mind, I nodded. "Pfft... You wish! You know that's never happening." He laughed and I rolled my eyes at him. Thank him for getting my hopes up all high.
'You're welcome, sexy!' His voice boomed in my head. Before I could snap back at him, he took my hand and softly kissed my fingers and then looked at me with a gentle smile. "May the lady enjoy her date." He whispers.

I rolled my eyes at him again. Too dramatic but it was way better than the cocky him. He should really know that. 'Point taken into consideration, Ma'am...' his voice again in my head. Oh boy, this guy is never gonna learn.

Before he could answer any specific thought of mine, I murmured a thank you and a farewell and made my way out the door. Thankfully the magical barrier did not stop me. I turned to see Ash had disappeared.

The barrier did not stop me? Was it finally gone? The compulsion was finally lifted off me. So now I can enter and leave as I please. Wow, this feels nice. I feel like a bird where freedom was my birthright.

Any ways going back to the stupid date, I made my way towards him. He was standing there in front of the red car, dressed in a navy blue T- shirt and a pair of khakis. Just as he had said. The date was going to be casual.

"Hey!" I murmured shyly. I don't know why but seeing this beautiful guy always manages to get me butterflies in my stomach and makes my heart flutter. He always seems to have that effect on me and I'm totally confused about how I feel about it. At one point the feeling is nice, the other moment you don't want it.

"Hello!" He murmured in the same tone with a soft smile. His eyes were concentrated on me, like nothing in this world mattered any more. A red tinge began to appear on my cheeks.

The moment I reached, his hands instinctively wraps my wrists and pulls me towards himself. Distance between our bodied ceased to exist. My heart beat rises to the beat and I know he could feel it too.

"Date jitters?" He asked. "Well, you know me..." I let out softly and shyly as my eyes looked down. He brought his hand to my face and lifted my face by my chin. "Hey!" He whispered and I let my eyes meet his. Why? Why is he so beautiful?
