LATER THAT NIGHT....
After that scrumptious dinner Ash had set for me, sleep was easy to come. My eyes drooped before I could reach my room. I kissed Zac on the cheek, gave my bestie a hug and bid everyone else who were busy watching TV a sleepy good night and jumped into bed where the darkness took in.
UNKNOWN POV
My presence in the house was unknown nor did I need to perk up any one's interest. If they knew I was here... NO, they didn't have to know. I knew I was taking a risk. But it was nothing compared to her, the reason of my risk.
This girl who was soundly asleep peacefully, cuddling against the softness of her quilt. She looked exactly like my long lost love. For once I could've believed it was her but the scent of her skin, her sweet, mouth-watering scent proved she was only human and the taste of her blood was what I had the immediate desire I was thirsting for.
But I wouldn't hurt her. I had that much control as much was needed. Her presence itself made me feel better than the terrible condition I was already living in.She was an exact carbon copy of her. Same smile, same softness of her red, plush cheeks, same colour of the lips and her hair had the only difference of it being straightened. The shade was just the same. She looked beautiful then. She looked beautiful now. There was hardly any difference..
Just that before she was mine. Only mine. Not that many people knew. And now she belonged to somebody else. Some one who I completely despise. But no, I am not going to let everything settle into peace. I'm not going to rest until she is mine.I come by her side and caress her cheek softly. The touch of it felt nice and she turned away with a sigh. I only want her mine. Is that so hard to get?, I question myself as I continued stroking her cheek. She smiled in her sleep and the words I never wanted to hear, tumbled from those beautiful lips. "Zac, No!" It was only a murmur but yet it sounded as a taunt.
A low guttural sound escaped from my mouth as I turned away, knocking down a few books in anger. When I looked back, she was stirring from her sleep. My time was up. I needed to go.
But don't worry Love, I was coming back. This was not going to be the last of me. For I am going to wait till I make you completely mine and let me warn you, there will be no turning back.KRISTEN'S POV
Something fell down and that got me out of my sleep. A sudden gush of the wind in my room. My eyes flickered open. That was weird! The window in my room is always shut at night.... So how could it be open? Brrrr.... It's cold! I sat up with a large yawn and then made a mistake that I knew I shouldn't have. I looked into the mirror.
I have always been that girl who used to read a lot and then treat it like some bullshit and believe it was just some stupid myths. But since the time I came to know the secret of the five I am living with, I've had time to reconsider with what I believe in. And reached to the most obvious conclusion. Be careful with the information you receive. Even if it just comes from stupid books.
My eyes fell on the mirror. Everything I read about ghosts and spirits came flooding back to me. Especially the one with Bloody Mary's Myth... I now knew I was being plunged into the sea of horror, facing my darkest fears playing alive.
In that mirror, I saw a man dressed in complete black. Black jacket with a black hoodie on, black jeans and beautiful black leather shoes. Odd combination, if you ask me but fear held me on so I couldn't analyze anything in my mind.
Looking at his face, only his sharp nose, his pink lips which betrayed a smirk and a prominent jaw-line was to be seen. His hoodie covered the rest of his features hence not giving me a proper look of him.I closed my eyes tight, hoping it was just some stupid dream or my sleepy eyes were playing tricks with my mind and opened them slowly again, to reveal no one in it's place. The breath I held back was now let free in relief and looked around. No one was there, I assured myself. I tried to go back to sleep but the assurance was not enough for my mind to relieve itself from the magic of sleep. I still had the fear of him returning to haunt me.
He had taken a place in the list of my immediate fears for some how I knew this was not the last of him.
