Every year the Tiger Beat Magazine allows a journalist to go to a famous celebrity's house and stay with them for one week. The journalist should understand the celebrity's lifestyle and ask questions about the unkown and use the advantage of spreading the new-found information to the world. This year the celebrity group chosen is a band called 'The Dark Side'.
KRISTEN'S POV
God, I'm so lucky to be a journalist now. I mean could anybody be as lucky as me? I'm getting a lucky chance to write an article on the 'The Dark Side', my favourite band which means I get to stay with them for a week. I was lucky to get such an opportunity cause a thousand girls would die for a chance like this. I felt like I won a lottery ticket. Well, technically it was more like a lottery. And I was just lucky to win it. Or maybe it was just fate.
I begin to pack my bag. Obviously I needed a few things. It's not like they are going to provide me with everything I need. "Please don't go." My mother and my adopted sister, Sara practically begged as they came into my room to bid me goodbye. I could not live without them as I was pretty attached to my only remaining family. But it was just one week. One week away only to get my dream come true. "Don't worry, my dahlings. We all are gonna be fine.... Plus I'll be back in a week." I say as I hug them and soon leave in a special car which stood waiting for me. God, I can't wait to get this show started...Reaching the Dark side premises.
While travelling, I was thinking about how my week is going to be with my favourite celebrities. And finally I get to prove my point to Sara that The Dark side is anyway better than Bruno Mars. Oh man, I'm so gonna win. And she is so gonna do the dare.
If I won, she would have to drench herself in ice water and go yelling around in the neighbourhood "I love The Dark Side and I'm married to them. Don't touch my husbands!" But if I lost, I was dared to wear a Bruno Mars shirt and nothing below and do pole dancing and fangirl about it at the same time. The good part of it is we get to take a video for good old times sake.
When the car stops in front of the premises, I look out of the window to get a glance of the mansion. Huge and magnificent! Just the way I had dreamed it to be. I stepped out of the car. God, I can't believe I'm gonna live here for a week. I so want to fangirl at the moment.
The watchman shouts "Hey lady, what are you doing? What do you want?" "I am the journalist who is supposed to stay here for a week." I say softly, hoping he would be informed already. "Oh yeah, they are expecting you. Kristen Stone, right?" I nod. He let me in. I walked in slowly. I really felt like I was in heaven. The flowers around looked exotic and the house was beautiful. A dream I was about to enter. I was about to knock but then I thought what if they are already expecting me, so what's the point? So I entered. And I felt like my eyes opened for the first time.
The hall that I was looking at was humongously huge and... white but it still gave a sense of magnificence and beauty. A beautifully polished room with - "Zara? What are you doing in here?" A raspy voice asked. I turned slowly as I froze. It was Zac's voice. It had to be his. I could recognise that voice anywhere.
God, he looks hot in real life. Actually the truth is I never got to see the band in reality, only on the TV. OMG, he looks so sexy. Kristen, snap out of it. Plus- Wait! Did he just call me Zara? Surprising! Does he know? Did my Mom betray me? Or it could also be some confusion?
"Ummm... I am sorry but I am the journalist." saying it with a little uncertainty, hoping that he would recognize me. "Oh yeah, Kristy Stones, right? I'm sorry. You just looked a little lot like my little best friend." he says with a small smile. "It's Kristen Stone and yup that's me." I say with a laugh and maybe ended with smile. I can't believe it I look like one of his friends. Not only friend. Best friend! Cool!
