 NEXT DAY...

"Kristen, go get ready. We leave in an hour." Zac shouted from the other room. "Na, I'm lazy." I shout back as I lazily change my position on the couch. "You want me to carry you to your room?" The offered reply from the other room. God, why does he want to keep carrying me?
Nevertheless "Yes please." Immediately he appears in front of me. “Actually I think I can make the effort myself." I get up. "Thanks for the offer anyway" I smile at him while he simply shakes his head.
I skip towards my room and there I see a beautiful white tube gown with a white ribbon on top laid on my bed, just made for me. It had an amazing fit bodice, sparkling in pure white. The tulle used in the gown was soft by the touch. Everything in that gown made things magical, to be felt like to believe in.

Quickly I tried it on and looked in the mirror to see another girl over there admiring the dress which made me feel that I belonged to my own fairy tale. I smile at the thought as I tuck the stray hair behind my ear and my eyes takes a look at the watch. It was 5:30 already and I had no time to lose.
Quickly I edited my dress a little and moved on with my make-up. Dark eyeliner, dark mascara and dark kohl. Only to allow my eyes to look mysteriously beautiful. And a touch of red lipstick to my soft lips. Now moving on to my hair, I ended up tying it into a messy bun and was content by the way it matched well with my style of clothing. I wore my six-inch black stilettoes and checked my watch again. Just about time.

I walked down to the hall to see the five vampires plus someone who I didn't really recognize waiting for me. With a confident smile, I take a step and with a snap, all heads turn towards me.
A feeling of awe filled in the room and with each step, my confident smile kept turning into a nervous one. I walked towards Zac and he smiled with a whisper "You look really beautiful." I blushed a little by the compliment. His hand slowly made its way to my wrist but by the mere touch of his skin made my skin tingle with pleasure and my heart flutter.
Chris interjects. "Wow, Love, you look amazing." "Thanks, Chris." I say, giving a soft smile and hoping that by now the blush would be long gone. “Anyways, I want you to meet my best friend, Nicole." A young, slender but tall girl stood beside him. Her deep brown hair cascaded down her shoulders and the black maxi dress she was wearing made her look more of a sorceress than a girl going for a ball. Maybe it was because of her perfect dark eyes. “Hi!” She said, with a cheerful tone as she offered her hand for a shake. “Hi. I'm Kristen" I say softly. Finally a girl to give me company.
"Yes, I know. Chris has told me so much about you." She say excitedly as my eyes flicker at Chris angrily.

God knows what he must have told her. 'Hey, I haven't said anything.' 'For once stop reading my mind.' I shout back at his annoying voice in my head. Nevertheless he continued. "Nicole here, is a hybrid. Partly vampire, partly witch." Ok, so how is she a hybrid? Then I remembered Chris's story.
"Now that the introduction is done, can we please go?" Walt asks in playful anger. "Since when do you enjoy such parties, Walt?" Ash asks with a mocking smile. “I’m never interested in them. It's just that something tells me that Babe's gonna enjoy it." He says with a devilish smile intended only for me. This definitely means that I'm gonna go through hell.

But I just shake the thought off but instead "Where is Samantha?" Zac asked. I had heard a lot about her too and was excited to meet her. "She is in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. She wanted to stay there for a few more weeks." Nicole answered with a simple but yet stunning smile.
"Now can we please go?" Walt whined. "Ok, Walt, we shall go." Zac answer as he shook his head slowly. I, too, agree with Zac. Nothing can be done with him.

 IN THE PARTY…

The moment I entered with Zac, my arm linked with his, all eyes turned to one direction. At first I had a doubt. All the women were wearing maxi dresses and I was the only one wearing a proper ball gown. God, this is so dumb. The theme is a ball and they are not wearing ball gowns. Great! So did they look at me because I am different?
